"Nathaniel Archibald!"
"Yes?" He replied innocently while walking into the bed room.
"What did you dress our daughter in?" She exclaimed while looking at her daughter who was in her arms.
"Clothes?" He said confused.
"Honestly Nate, really? A yellow shirt with bright pink jeans? Do you really think this matches?" She said appalled, as if this girl was going on the red carpet at any minute.
"She's 6 month old Babe. You're acting like she's an international superstar. Does it really matter if her clothes match?" He said walking to stand by his wife and daughter.
"Yes! What if we took a picture of her today? And 16 years from now she saw that picture of her with this outfit on. She would never forgive me!" She said while handing their daughter over to Nate and walked to her closet to pick out another outfit.
"Babe, I'm pretty sure she'd get over it." He said while tickling his daughter.
"Uh huh, sure. I'm not taking a chance, especially with this hideous outfit." She said while taking their daughter out of his arms and laid her on the bed to start changing her.
"You bought the shirt and jeans! So how can you yell at me?" He said suddenly coming to the realization.
"Yes, I did. But this shirt was meant to be with different jeans and jeans were meant to be with a different shirt!" She said while focusing all her attention on their daughter.
"Oh come on it is not that bad." He replied while looking at the outfit that was being taken off.
"Yes it is! You obviously have no fashion sense at all!" She said while finishing up her daughters outfit and giving her a kiss on the cheek.
"Well Serena I'm a guy. I'm obviously not good at all this girly stuff."
"This isn't girl stuff, it's common sense!"
"What that pink and yellow don't match?"
"Yes." She replied "Even if you are a guy you should know this!"
"I'll try harder next time." He said sarcastically.
"Oh no! There won't be a next time." She said, "You are never dressing her again! It's always gonna be me now. So she doesn't have to worry about being embarrassed. And if for some crazy reason I won't be here when she has to get dressed. Then I'll lay out clothes for her, because we don't want my little princess to have to wear something that doesn't match! Do we baby? No we don't. No we don't." She said talking in a baby voice before kissing her cheek and hugging her tightly.
"Oh so now because of this one time. Your never gonna trust me with our daughter again?" He said chuckling but looked up and saw a totally stern, totally serious look on Serena's face.
"Not with her wardrobe I'm not!" She said before walking out of the room.
"Oh come on Babe!" He said walking after her.
"Nope, you lost my trust Nate Archibald." She yelled back up the stairs.
"Just because of one bad outfit?" He said walking after her.
Lol, I love Nate and Serena, and I wanted to make a cute, drama free oneshot.
So reviews, maybe? :))
