Meimi knew that something was going to happen, so why didn't she check up on Seira before it had happened? The answer was simple: Rosemary had threatened Seira if Meimi didn't give in to her. Rosemary's threat was clear and both girls knew that Rosemary would follow through with it.
Meimi agreed to let Rosemary go free if she left Seira alone and now the people, save for her parents and Seira hate her for it. Time Skip: 7 Years Later...
Both girls were 21 years old and Meimi was getting worse in her mental battle. The only thing or person that kept her from losing her mind was Seira and Seira was slowly, but surely, losing her mind. Meimi felt guilty, because the quickest way of Seira losing her mind was the fact that Meimi became abusive in her behavior. She would hit, curse, scream, and haunt her with nightmares. Meimi was not only hurting Seira, she was hurting herself and Meimi didn't know that until something bad had happened.
Time Skip: 2 Months Later...
Meimi was walking with Seira from a ice cream store. Meimi had encased her hand in Seira's smaller one. Meimi had gotten counseling and it worked. Meimi stopped hurting Seira, but the she should've realized it sooner. Seira was getting sick and her abuse made it worse. While they were walking back, Meimi saw Rosemary and Rosemary noticed Meimi. Meimi's past anger flared up and she ran at Rosemary. The streets was empty, so nobody would see what Meimi was going to do. Meimi wanted to murder the woman. Rosemary smirked and she hugged Meimi when Meimi got close. "The fuck you're doing?" Meimi asked sharply.
"Helping you." Rosemary answered. Meimi screamed in pain as she turned evil and dark. Meimi tried to fight the transformation, but her past Saint Tail persona told to not to fight it.
"Why fight this? You're gaining power, Meimi! We're going to make them pay for betraying us!" Saint Tail tells Meimi as she turned dark. Meimi couldn't fight it anymore and she let her inner darkness take her into the darkness. Meimi looked at Seira as she slipped into the darkness. Her body was cover with a dark aura and she grinned at Seira. Seira was really scared of Meimi and it showed. She stepped back when Meimi stepped towards her. She's scared, huh? Who cares, as long as I protect her with this power, she can scared of me. Insane Meimi thought. Seira looked at Rosemary in fear. Rosemary looked at Seira and she smiled. She walked towards Seira. Seira was frozen with fear and Rosemary gently took Seira's chin in her hand.
"Hey, kid." Rosemary greeted Seira and she rubbed Seira's cheek and Seira flinched when Rosemary did it. "Relax, I won't hurt you. Meimi's too protective of you anyway." Rosemary tells Seira.
Seira struggled Rosemary's hold. She closed her eyes in fear.
