Hi everyone, I know I never update any of my other stories I have been so busy lately that I haven't had time to work on them. I can only write when I have free time which happens to be late at night sometimes. I'll try to get an update on some of my other stories during spring break in a couple of weeks. Anyways I came up with this idea during a writing prompt in my English class and thought it would tie in nicely with Twilight.

Bella's POV

Run! That was the only thing going through my mind as I continued to run down the path I was on. If I had a heart beat then it would surely want to burst out of my chest as I pushed myself even more on this path. I could hear the running of the others behind me. They didn't want me out they wanted me dead. I had escaped and now if I stopped running I would be recaptured and most likely killed as soon as they had the chance. I heard howls in the distance and knew that the wolves had now joined the others in chasing me. I had to be sure that I was on guard at all times, and make sure I blocked everyone extra senses. I had no problem with one of them, he had never been able to read my mind to begin with, but the other two were my biggest problems. I made sure I never made up my mind until the very last minute or even changing it constantly. I couldn't go back there, I just couldn't, ever since the family had agreed to a experiment they had all changed…All of them except me, I think this was because it effected to mind which I have proven time and time again that those kind of powers don't work on me. I tried to protect the rest of the family but I'm still new at using my shield and it failed at a certain point and they all became overcome by that power. I heard the footsteps getting closer and closer to me and I told my legs to mover even faster, I was grateful now that I didn't need to breath or get tired or I would have stopped a long time ago. I continued to run while making sure that they didn't get any closer to me, since that would mean doom. I had a harder time keeping track of the wolves since there were so many of them and they were so spread out trying to get closer to me. I suddenly heard a howl in front of me and I cursed under my breath knowing that there was no longer a way to escape and they had all managed to surround me. I came to a stop and the others all surrounded me. I looked at them all, my former family and my friends looking at me wanting me dead. Suddenly the members of my family lunged at me and began to painfully rip my body to shreds ignoring my screams, shrieks, and pleas for them to stop. I then felt my body even disconnected to my being lit on fire I screamed again.

I jumped awake and saw that I was in my bed, in Edward's arms. He was whispering in my ear trying to comfort me. He was telling me that he's never seen me have such a bad dream before. He wanted me to tell him what my dream was about, but I refused since I knew that it was just convince him even more that I should stay human. I knew that he was irritated because he wanted to know what had happened but also respected me enough to leave it be…for now at least. He started to hum my lullaby to me and slowly lulled me back to sleep, where I slept peacefully for the rest of the night.
