Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter or anyone associated with him, but I do own my character Kayley

It was a cool winter night, many of the students at Hogwarts School for witchcraft and wizardry had long since gone asleep. Well most of them, a young girl could be seen sitting in the Slytherin common room attempting to work on a Charms essay, but that was well not going completely as planned, for she was starting at a devilishly handsome young man, his name Draco Malfoy. The young girl, her name is Kayley…Kayley Kershaw, she had long platinum blonde hair that reached the mid of her back. Her eyes looked like the brightest, bluest sapphire. Kayley's skin was well taken care off, not a blemish to be seen and her figure was perfectly proportioned, not that the handsome blonde wasn't taking notice.

Kayley looked at Draco as he read one of his books. Her mind drifting off to when she and Draco first meet four years prior….

It was first year and Kayley had just been inducted into the house of Slytherin with some of the other first year students. They were just starting classes, and she was sitting next to the Slytherin prince, Draco. He had a smug look on his face as he glared at Harry Potter muttering some words she could not make clear. Pushing a few strands behind her ear she listened as Professor Snape began talking about class that year. When Draco began talking to her, "seems like I'll be stuck with you this year…" he said unhappily. Kayley h ad just looked down, muttering a soft "Yea I guess…"

Blinking Kayley looked down at her half completed essay, her comfy green pajama bottoms, and silver tank-top keeping her comfortable on the hard floor. The fire shinned and warmed her up a bit. Turning all of her hair to one side she continued to think before noticing Draco making his way over next to her, himself dress in a pair of green pajama bottoms and no shirt. She couldn't help but notice how good he looked without a shirt on. "Working on that stupid essay?" he asked.

Kayley looked at him and sighed, "Yea but nothing is coming to mind…" Draco's bangs fell over one of his eyes giving him a look of mystery. Kayley couldn't help but notice his eyes and how his dark chocolate orbs stared at her.

"Well what was the topic again I seem to have forgotten?" he asked moving closer to her.

"If you could make any charm or portion what type would it be and why?" she stated adverting her gaze away from him. Kayley heard Draco laugh, and she stared at him.

"I'm sorry Kayley, it's just that this would seem to be the easiest thing for you, you're so creative I thought this would be a snap for you…" he shifted sitting a little straighter.

Kayley just sighed and put her quill down, "I'm having writers block I guess you could say…" she smiled at Draco, and the smile was something to behold because the young woman sitting there rarely smiled. Draco smirked a bit; this was how all there conversations went, short and sweet. Rarely did the two ever talk publicly, but they had a small understanding of each other, seeing as both of their fathers were death-eaters.

Getting ready to stand, Kayley picked up her things. Stretching her arms she noticed Draco's stare, and smiled at herself. Draco was finally taking notice of her and she liked that.

"Goodnight Draco, see you in the morning…" she said getting ready to go up into the girls' dormitories and go to sleep.

"Goodnight Kayley I'll see you…" he said going back over to his book.

A/N: Well this is my first attempt at a Harry Potter Fanfic, ever! I just want to let people know that I do not read the books so if something is wrong bookwise I'm sorry I'm going completely off of the movie, and I know Draco's personality was a little tisted in the first chapter, but it will get better I promise. This is a Draco/OC
