Okay, so i had issues with this story. Fanfiction couldn't seem to find it. EVER so i deleted it and uploaded it again. Sorry if there was any confusion about it.
This story is based on Nothing About Love Makes Sense by LeAnn Rimes. I don't own it. And i don't own Bleach either, if i did that would mean i would be the one drawing the new manga every week and my drawing skills rival that of a monkeys.'
Please enjoy
Nothing about Love Makes Sense
Rukia sat on the roof of Ichigo's house staring up at the dark cloud hovering over the city. It gave a sense of heaviness in the air and she wondered why does it hang in the air like it does?
A cloud so dark and foreboding obviously held rain, and how many times had she read the phrase 'heavy rain drops?' So why did this cloud hang in the sky as though supported by invisible wire? It seemed impossible like ice burning, or even the concept of a bumble bee being able to fly. Its body certainly couldn't be supported by its wings, it was much too large. Like an ocean liner, how did a ship so large made of such dense material float in water, glide on it like a swan? Also of the like was the leaning tower of Piza, surely it would one day collapse under its own weight and be sent toppling to the ground; and why were there things like "jumbo shrimp" and "baby grand" pianos? Weren't those both paradoxes in themselves?
But asking these questions was like asking, why do we dance? Is it because we can? Why do we dream? Is that also because we can? And why do we love? Is that because we can… or is it that we want to? None of these questions seemed to have any answer, nor could she provide one.
The sliding of Ichigo's window pulled her out of her thoughts as he pulled himself up onto the roof next to her. Sitting down he looked out at whatever she had been staring at. "Is something wrong?" he asked.
"No"
"Then what are you doing out here?"
She sighed, "contemplating the mysteries of life."
As his hand quietly slipped into hers, her heart skipped a beat and her knees weakened, just like they always did. How did he do that? Because he could? Was this what love did? An emotion as strong as this shouldn't make her feel this weak. It was so conflicting. She felt as though she had won and lost something at the same time. It made her so happy she cried at times. She was falling as she stood. Much like he had fallen for her, but why did he fall for her? Because he could… wanted to… or just did? It didn't fit any sort of equation. It was nothing less than confusing, and nothing short of amazing . Why was it so confusing? Because it could be… or just was?
"Like what?" persisted Ichigo.
"Us" she muttered.
"Us?"
"Us" she confirmed.
"And what have you determined?" he asked.
"That… nothing about love, makes any sense"
He smirked, "Baka" he told her as he leaned in to kiss her "it's not supposed to"
My first fic. I'm so proud *sniffle*. Tell me what you think, and please be gentel. My fragile ego can't take flames on the first fic. Here's hoping it doesn't get lost again.
