May was running down the street with her best friend Sierra when they stooped for a drink on the way. May had long, curly blonde hair, her hair flew in the wind as they ran down the street back home. Sierra had short, brown hair that in the sun definatley shown it's natural highlights of red and blonde. "Sierra, slow down! I am getting out of breath, we have ran all the way home and you haven't stopped once!"

May was not the kind of girl who wanted to run 10 blocks on the way home from school. May would have much rather sit on the couch and watch Netflix. While on the other hand, Sierra was on the level 7 gymnastics team and loved to work out. "Calm down you big baby, it was only 5 blocks since we stopped to get a drink." Sierra could see the ice cold blue in May's eyes as they gazed upon her. "Do you even realize how hard of a run that is for a girl who is not level 7 in gymnastics!"

Sierra laughed as she listened to May ramble about the run home. They walked inside and both collapsed on the floor. "Mom you home!" May yelled upstairs. "Yes honey I'm in the kitchen!" yelled back to her daughter. "What would you like to eat for- Oh, hello Sierra, how are you?" She said with a suprised look on her face. She knew Sierra came over quite often, but today was different, she didn't seem...right. "Hi ,how are you?" "I'm great. Would you excuse me and May for a moment?"

She asked awkwardly. Sierra walked into May's bedroom and shut the door. "May? What happened with Sierra today?" She asked May trying not to let Sierra hear. "Mom...don't bring anything up about what I'm going to tell you, okay?" May said with a sad look. "Yes, of course honey, wh-what happened?" "Mom, Samuel broke up with Sierra today after first period." May said with a frown. felt so bad for Sierra. Samuel and Sierra had been together for 6 years.

"Awwwww, poor Sierra. They have been together for so long!" "How did it happen?" asked very suprised. May looked down the hall to see SIerra peaking her head out the door listening to the conversation. May called for Sierra and they all talked it out. There we're tears and laughter. "May I just wish it was in person, not over the phone." Sierra said while wiping her tears.

"Sierra I know this is hard to believe, but just remember I'm here for you whenever you need me." May said while looking into Sierra's bold brown eyes. " ?" Sierra said to . "Yes Sierra?" "Can you take me home please, I want to be home for dinner and I would rather not walk home alone in the state I'm in." Sierra said with a slight smile peaking through the tears. "Of course honey, go get in the car I will be right with you." May looked at her mom with a sad/happy look on her face.
"Thank you mom, for being so weet and understanding during what Sierra is going through. I just can't believe Sam would do something like this." May said with her face toward the floor. "No problem, I know what it feels like, even if you don't." May nodded and went to her room. This would be a long day she would always remember.
