Teardrops on My Guitar

Hermione was mad, really mad, at Ron.

She had just seen him kissing Lavender in the common room.

Sure, she liked him as more than a friend. But, did he feel the same way?

Ron looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see

That I want and I'm needing everything that we should be

I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about

And she's got everything that I have to live without

She went to talk to Harry about it and he suggested that she should tell

him how she felt. She considered it for a minute, but decided against it

due to the fact that he had a girlfriend/snogging partner.

Ron talks to me, I laugh cause its just so funny

That I even see anyone when he's with me

He says he's so in love, he's finally got right

I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night

Hermione had barely gotten any sleep that night, because of a dream

where she was snogging Ron, but was pushed aside by Lavender.

He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar

The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star

He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do

Ron walks by me, can he tell that I can't breathe?

And there he goes, so perfectly,

The kind of flawless I wish I could be

She'd better hold him tight, give him all her love

Look in those beautiful eyes, and know she's lucky cause

He's the reason for the reason for the teardrops on my guitar

The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star

He's song in the car I keep singing, don't know I do

So I drive home along, as I turn out the light

I'll put his picture down and maybe

Get some sleep tonight

He's the reason for he teardrops on my guitar

The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star

He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do

He's the time taken up, but there's never enough

And he's all that I need to fall into

Ron looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see.

At breakfast the next morning, Hermione heard from Parvati Patil that

Ron and Lavender had broken up.

Hermione, who had a strengthened resolve to tell Ron how she felt about

him, left the Great Hall.

"Ron!"

"Yeah?"

"I've wanted to tell you something since third year."

"What's that?"

"Ron. I-"

"Ron, you ready for quidditch practice?"

"Yeah."

"I'll see you later, Hermione?"

"Yeah, see you later."

"I'll see both of you in the common room later."

"Alright, see you."

"Ron, I love you!"

And she kissed more passionately than she had kissed Viktor Krum in her fourth year.

"Ron, we've got quidditch practice, remember?"

"Ron?"

"HEY! You two can snog later, okay?

"Alright."
