Damien heard Kate scream that word behind him, and then came an excruciating pain of what he hadn't expected…the dagger plunged deep into his back. Kate Reynolds. His secretary, Harvey Dean warned him about her. He recalled their conversation inside his office…
"She's dangerous."
And he replied to Harvey,"I decide who's dangerous and who isn't."
Damien stumbled forward in shock.
Why didn't I listen? Why didn't I kill her when I had the chance?
His attraction to Kate…he had known it shouldn't have happened, but it did.
Damien collapsed onto his knees.
