Sam's P.O.V.
At first I didn't believe you
When you said you had to leave
You sailed away and left me
You left me here to grieve
Before you went you promised
"I'll never forget you, never."
And I believed you, stood by you
I kept my promise forever
Years went by and I grew old
Remembering your face
How you laughed, how you smiled
As I took you in my embrace
Gandalf came to visit me
Brought news of your life elsewhere
How happy you were, free of pain
Now you lived across the sea, over there
Good news, you're coming to visit
I'll see your face at last
Together, best friends reunited
As we reflect on times gone past
I meet you at the Grey Havens
And take you back to our home
I sit you down by the fire
Frodo, you're no longer alone
Days pass by, weeks, so quick
With you here like before
As though you never left me
Safe with me once more
The time soon came, I knew so
For you to go back, cross the sea
On the Elven Ship, you sailed away
In my heart that's where you'll be
I'll never forget you Frodo
As long as we both shall live
For all my life you'll have my love
There's nothing else to give
