This is really really short and my first MA fic, so it might not be very good. The song is by Nelly Furtado. This isn't really a songfic, I just used a few lines here.

Don't own anything

Oh you don't mean nothing at all to me

No you don't mean nothing at all to me

But you got what it takes to set me free

Oh you could mean everything to me

It was a lie, at first. She had told Logan that she and Alec were together and they weren't. When Logan had left TC and they had started this fight, she had kept it up. Even after the first time she and Alec slept together, it was still a lie.

They were both broken, basically. The first time was shortly after Biggs had died. Alec had been suffering more than she had thought. She had tried to comfort him and things had escalated from there.

The second time had been after Logan had left TC hurt. She had leaned on him then and things had escalated from there.

She knew it was wrong, knew she was using him, that he was using her. Or at least that was what she thought. It wasn't love, just a string of one night stands because they were both broken and it had been so long since she had felt really connected with anyone.

Sometimes she wondered what was wrong with her. She never did things like this before. She could never admit her feelings for Logan but she could sleep with Alec like it was nothing, because it was nothing. At least thats what she thought at first.

It wasn't until Joshua brought up Logan again and she didn't feel that lingering sharp pain that she realized the truth. That she realized that maybe it wasn't just a string of one night stands, at least not anymore.

She had gone to him and things had escalated again, but this time she had put her hand on his chest, intending to tell him everything. But when she met his eyes, she realized that the words weren't needed, at least not anymore. She could see them reflected in his dark green eyes.

She wondered briefly if it had ever been nothing to him, or her. She had never thought that she would do something like that with someone who meant nothing to her, and she hadn't.

The next time Logan asked, she told the truth.
