Author's Note: Popped into my head one morning. Enjoy.

Severus awoke one morning seated in his armchair. The smell of freshly brewed coffee, a sign that his wife was up and about, drifted through the air but did little to wake him up. He had been up trying to finish grading sorry attempts at essays when Lily kicked him out of bed; a fear of spilt ink staining their sheets was her reasoning for banishing him to his chair.

Several vertebrae popped while the still asleep man stretched and began regaining his senses. "Good morning, Mr. Don't-Talk-To-Me-In-The-Mornings-Because-I'm-Still-Half-Asleep." His favorite black mug appeared before him held between slim fingers with painted nails. Lily's breath tickled the top of Severus's ear for a split second before she spoke. "I'd love to help you with your 'morning visitor', but I have a meeting with two unruly students this morning." Half-closed coal colored eyes saw the source of her teasing. The tent in his pants would be impossible to hide now.

"Pleasant dream?" Severus rubbed the bridge of his nose before glimpsing up at his smug wife now leaning against the unlit fireplace. "It wasn't about you." Lily's eyebrows leisurely rose at her husband's groggy confession. Dreams of other people had never been a topic for discussion between them. Their attraction to each other was apparent in the bedroom, and her office, and the odd storage closet… If Hogwarts house elves didn't appear in every nook and cranny then their escapades would topple many of the students' "adventures".

"And the lucky woman is?" Severus's eyes were the only thing seen above the steam rising from his morning coffee as he tried to glare and drink at the same time. Lily wasn't concerned about the cranky man's latest dream. Despite their Slytherin nature they remained faithful to one another. Her question was asked out of curiosity, not jealousy. Severus still maintained the position of jealous one in their marriage. "That is of no concern to you."

The former Malfoy simply shrugged and set off for her first meeting of the day but stopped at the doorway, coffee still in hand. "I'd be lying," she looked over her shoulder and made sure the other professor could see her mock look on her face, "if I said that muggle actor, Alan Rickman, remained outside of my late night dreams." The sneer Severus shot at her was quickly blocked by an oak door as Lily made her exit. A triumphant smirk remained on her face throughout the day; well, until later that night when any thoughts of the Severus look alike were quickly replaced with her husband.
