But not for them. The survival of Prussia, of Yugoslavia, only enforced that.
This is different, though. And those who for years, for centuries, have seen time only as a commodity, something that they have far too much of and will never run out of, are now facing what their own people have faced for centuries.
Panic is over. Now there is only fear. Friends sit in circles, hands held. Some pray. Lovers embrace, crying.
It's their time. It's the end of the world.
