Dedicated to RadicalDaniel, inspired by the song 'Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off' by Panic! At The Disco.
"I can't."
This is what Dougie blurts out as Harry's hands go up his shirt, and what he regrets saying immediately after he does.
But there's no taking it back, so he just stares up at Harry, wide turquoise eyes into blue comforting ones.
Harry slides a hand round to the small of Dougie's back, rubs it soothingly, presses his lips against blonde hair.
"You can, though." He murmurs the words in the voice he knows makes Dougie calm, makes Dougie peaceful- then, in practised movements, captures Dougie's lips in his own at the same time as sliding his hand into Dougie's too- big jeans.
Dougie whimpers, a mix of fear and lust, and his body jerks a little. Harry smiles and pings the elastic on the younger boy's boxer shorts before sliding his hands in them, too.
"Now," He whispered against the soft lips, "Forget this stage fright of yours, get on that stage, play that bass like you always have done and always will do, and we'll work out your reward later, hmm?"
