Legend Of Alphus

Legends speak of an almighty Being, one who possessed great and unmatched power. This Being was said to be the first life form to ever walk the face of the planet, and was said to have created everything that ever has existed. According to legend, the being got incredibly lonely, and decided to create other creatures. The being grew tired of its power, and felt bad for his companions, who did not have any powers. As time passed on, each companion of the almighty being obtained powers that the being shared, and they began to transform that power into their own variation. One of the creations decided that there was not enough life on the planet, so he created less powerful versions of the other companions, and even one after the Being. The companion that created less powerful life also created a new species of life, and they called themselves humans. The humans then gave names to the Being's companions. They called them Pokémon. Centuries passed, and over time, humans and Pokémon grew closer, developing bonds as they helped each other.

Now onto the actual story...enjoy!

The day was approaching. Team Void's attack would soon begin, and my family and I would soon be deported to some faraway region I had only read about in textbooks during school. My dreams of becoming a trainer would be violently and abruptly put on hold, as well as those of my family. My little sister Leaf dreamed of being a top coordinator, while my more adventurous littlest brother Blue dreamed of becoming a gym leader. The entirety of the Exitti region lies in turmoil, waiting on the inevitable and ruthless attack. The main factor that drives the population is that nobody knows when the attack is coming. "Magnus, the phone's for you!" my mother said. "I'm coming!" I replied.

"May I ask who this is?" I asked.

"Magnus," said the stranger, "This is Professor Cedar. I have a favor to ask of you."

"Of course, Professor! What do you need?" I said.

"I'll need you to stop by my lab tomorrow, first thing in the morning." He said.

"I'll be there, but could you tell me what for?"

"It's of utmost importance, just know that. I have to go now."

When I arrived at the esteemed lab of Prof. Cedar, he was already outside and impatiently waiting on me. I felt kind of guilty.

"Magnus! Oh thank goodness you've arrived! I was beginning to worry about you!" said the professor.

"There's nothing to worry about. What did you need?" I replied.

"Please, do come inside! I have a little…erm…departing gift for you. Please, choose one of these three Pokémon that are in these Pokéballs on the table here." He said as he gestured to a magnificently cluttered table. It was as almost if he was sorting things into some order of importance. "Oh! I almost forgot. The Pokéballs contain these three Pokémon. Axew, Ralts, and Larvitar. They're just a few remnants of what was here before those Void goons came and robbed me." He sighed.

I did not know which one to choose; I was too excited. I had waited all of my 14 pitiful and eventless years for this opportunity. "I want Ralts, professor!" I shouted.

"Ralts it is!" he replied.
