A/N: Hello my readers. Today, I bring to you a series of drabble to help me get over my writer's block. I hope that I can update weekly, but due to my obligations I do not know if I can find the time to write. Good news though! I have started editing some of my current works, and that I have started a few set of new stories and current story chapters so expect a new chapter to any of my ongoing fanfics this year (most likely "Fool Me Not"). I apologize again and I hope you enjoy this oneshot drabble.
Disclaimer: Everyone knows that I don't own MGLN or NanoFate OTL but if I do, I'll guarantee that those two won't end up just kissing! Vivio needs a sibling!
"Advent"
Sweat drizzled down from her temples to the tip of her chin. A few cascaded down to her neck, soaking her drenched collar of her once immaculate shirt, as she trudged forward like a condemned criminal. She wanted to rest, for the sun was blazing hot, and her cramped legs numbed from her long journey, but the clock was ticking, ebbing closer to a deadline she cannot afford to miss, even at the cost of her own life. She needed to be there. She must!
As the road before her dimmed along with her vision, she thought she saw something. A structure she fought her way to see.
Has she finally arrived? Is her journey finally over?
She vehemently hoped so.
Forcing her dragging feet to a fast amble, she nearly jogged to the entrance, flying across a set of stairs and ignoring a screaming woman demanding her presence and her intentions. But she had to be quick! Her lover waits!
Pushing aside a grumpy man in a long white robe, she flung herself inside a quiet room and breathlessly uttered her lover's name.
"Nanoha!"
Shining blue eyes and a beautiful smile she loved so much greeted her as her lover cradled a bundle of clothes in her arms.
"Ah Fate-chan, you're finally here. Meet your daughter. Say 'hi' to your Fate-mama, darling." Nanoha cooed the bundle of blankets.
Despite her lover's exhausted voice, Fate heard pride and wondrous love married in her lover's greeting.
Seeing the bundle of clothes in her lovers arm - a pair of burgundy eyes reflected her own teary ones - she could not help but sob in happiness..
"Hello, little one." Fate whispered. Her voice tight with emotion.
And she knew that running ten miles from headquarters during a very important meeting and ditching her car in traffic was worth it, even if she missed the delivery.
A/N: Again, I hope you enjoy this short oneshot. Yes I know I know, this is a cliché fanfic with an A-Z kinda series of oneshot, but I need something to get my mind off the stress of uni OTL! I hope to update more this week and if not you have my permission to flame/tease/pester/throwobejects at me.
I hope to update "Fool Me Not" next month, but if not, hopefully this year! I cannot promise you this month, but I most certainly will update this year!
