A Note- I just had to do this. There will be just another one-shot in continuation. This on is the kiss from Ginny's POV. I don't own Harry Potter. And I have had NO reviews on my story And the world wen t Black since I last updated. Just saying-Arianne
Ginny was standing there in the common room holding the gleaming Quidditch cup in her hand. Everyone was hugging her and there were cheers all around. Where is Harry? She thought to herself grinning. Hermione was standing there with Ron engrossed in conversation about the match. Ginny saw Dean standing there leaning against the staircase. She wondered if the feelings that she had until recently had for him been anything above affectionate friendship and… snogging.
Suddenly the crowd cheered loudly. Someone had entered the common room and Ginny was pretty sure who it was. Harry Potter was standing there in the common room slightly surprised and relieved. No doubt he had been scared to death that they would've lost. At that Ginny felt strong urge to kiss him.
Not a wise move, Ginny, she said to herself, he doesn't like you anyway. Well at least he should congratulate her. She had won a game after all.
Harry found her gaze. He wasn't smiling but she knew that he was euphoric. She walked, no, ran to him and he took her into his arms. His embrace was strong, crushing but yet simply familiar.
And then something unexpected happened. Harry broke from the embrace and kissed her. It was a feeling she had never really felt before. The feeling that time had stopped, that your heart rate seemed to have gone over the roof that nothing could steal this away.
Harry broke apart from the kiss. Ginny stared into his eyes as though she had seen them for the first time, her hands on his chest, feeling his heart.
He grabbed her hand and looked in someone's direction. Ron. She had the incantation of the bat-bogey hex at her lips when Ron gave a slight jerk of his head. Yes. Harry's face at last broke into a grin and he led her out the common room.
