`Webby couldn't sleep. It was too exciting. Her first Christmas with other people than granny and Scrooge! She started silently jumping around the room. Since she tried to sleep, but couldn't, she decided to stay up all night.

Her excitement was interrupted when she faintly heard a door closing. She crept over to her door and cracked it open some, just enough for her to see. After a few seconds, she saw an outline of a small duckling running across the hallway. She quietly but quickly opened the rest of the door and looked down where she saw the duckling run. She could only make out one webbed foot running into the rest of the darkness. She needed to see what was going on.

She quietly stepped out of her room and closed the door. She ran down the hallway, and when she got to the end of it, she heard noises coming from the larger living room. They sounded like crunching noises and something being placed on the table, sort of vigorously. She tried to scan the wall for a light switch, but it being so dark, she couldn't see. She started feeling the walls for a light switch, until she felt something stick out from the wall, short and sort of thin. She pinched the top and bottom of it and flipped it upwards to reveal…Dewey eating the cookies for Santa.

Immediately when the lights went on, he jumped a bit and looked over to Webby, who was also a bit shocked. "Uhhh…" Dewey tried to explain the situation. "I wasn't doing anything." He dropped a half-eaten cookie and put his hands in up. Webby snickered. She couldn't believe this is what was going to be happening to the cookies every year.

After she finished laughing, she looked to a confused Dewey, and said, "Need help finishing those?" Dewey then smiled and grabbed the cookie he had been eating before. "Dig in." He hand motioned for her to come, which she gladly accepted. They both ate cookies happily that night and left a note saying,

'Sorry, Santa!'

Merry Christmas, guys!
