Quotes Part 3: Duct Tape is Like the Force
Fic based off of the quote: Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
Anakin finished fixing the leek in the Pod and wiggled out from under his racer, duct tape pushed up to his upper arm like an armlet. Ja Ja Binks saw the gray tape and pointed at it.
"What's that?" Asked Ja Ja in his lisp.
"It's called Duct tape. It fixes stuff," Anakin replied.
"How does it fix stuff?" asked JaJa.
Anakin pulled a bit of tape off of the 'armlet' "See this," Anakin pointed to the light side. "this side is sticky. You put it on something and it'll stay there. See?" Anakin put the Duct tape on the pod and then tried to pull it off (he failed).
JaJa clapped his hands and jumped up and down, shaking the ground. "Could I try?"
"Sure." Anakin ripped of a piece of tape and handed it over.
JaJa excitedly took it and pressed it to the pod. Immediately the tape fell down.
Jaja picked it up, "It must have a malfunction," he told Anakin.
Anakin laughed. "No, you pressed the dark side of the tape to the pod. Your supposed to stick the light side to it."
"Why?"
"Because the light side is the sticky side."
"Oh," JaJa tried it again, again failing.
After about 10 minutes of JaJa trying and failing to stick the duct tape to the pod and Anakin fighting back the erg to hit JaJa upside the head, Obi Wan Kenobi walked up to the pare.
"What are you doing?" asked Obi Wan.
"Trying to make the duck tape to stick."
"No! It's Duct tape. And JaJa doesn't understand that there are sides!"
Obi Wan feeling sorry for the boy decided to help him out.
"JaJa, Duct tape is like the Force. There's a light side and a Dark side and the light side holds the universe to gather."
JaJa finally understanding stuck the light side to the pod.
