AN: It's August eighteenth, Percy's birthday. And I just needed to do something special for it.
Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson and The Olympians.

Happy Birthday Percy!

I was feeling pretty glum, it was August eighteenth, my birthday, and no one noticed. Not even Annabeth. I had been teaching a sword fighting class for ten year olds. And when I got back to my cabin after the lesson, the place was a disaster. Clothes were thrown everywhere, all the beds were messed up, and there was mud all over the floor.

It would be time for dinner in a few minutes, and I couldn't leave the room a mess. We were having a special memorial service for all the heroes who died in the Second Titan War tonight, and in the morning we had cabin inspections, I did not wanna wake up early to clean up. So I set to work.

Cleaning the mud was easy, all I had to do was summon a wave to carry it all out of the cabin. But I actually had to pick up all the clothes, some of which did not smell very good, and make all the beds, there were six bunk beds, and twelve bunks altogether. That took me about twenty minutes.

I was surprised the conch horn hadn't blown yet, so I made my way to the dining pavilion, and was surprised to find it empty. But as I was making my way to the Poseidon table, campers jumped out of their hiding spots, and yelled "Happy Birthday!"

I was really surprised, I'd thought they'd all forgotten about my birthday. But when I really thought about it, everyone had been acting strange around me today, whispering and not quite looking me in the eye.

After that surprise, and a lot of blue cake, it was finally time for the campfire. This was going to be a very sad night.

AN: How was it. I feel like it wasn't quite up to my standards, but please tell me what you think. Also leave in your reviews if you'd like me to continue or not. I'd make the next chapter about the campfire.
