We hide within the shadows
Because it's the only thing we know how to do
Everyone fears us for what's within us
All we want is acceptance is that too much to ask for
Both of our fathers were soulless creatures who only saw us as weapons of mass destruction
They never showed us or hinted at any love
The only love we ever received was from our mothers
