Chapter 3
The files of Alexandra Kaiba
Lily and Tristan were sitting on the floor of Lily's apartment, which had been broken into a few hours before she came home from work. Lily had told Tristan that she is a Kaiba and that Gozaburo had killed her mom when she was 11 and he blamed it on her, so she spent a year in Juvenile detention and was kicked out of her home at only 12 years old.
"No, they couldn't have found out. How could they?" Tristan asked
"There were files. Secret government files that I stole. I was so scared that if something would happen to me, someone would find out about my past and find out about what I was accused of doing. I never wanted them to know, so I stole the files one day. It was my second job, I was a secretary at a government office. I was looking for some file or something one day for a case that was going on downtown, when I saw my file and I panicked so I snuck the file into my bag and never returned to the job. No one found out about the missing file, and I went into America, became a citizen there under the name Lily McGrath, lived there for 5 years and came back to Japan and have never left. So as far as anyone knows Alexandra Kaiba is dead."
"Did you keep those files here?"
"Yes, foolishly I never managed to destroy those files. Now they are gone, and soon everyone will know that I am Alexandra Kaiba." Lily started to sob, She was scared, she didn't want her past exposed.
"Lily, it's ok. I think they were bluffing about exposing your past."
"Tristan, they probably already knew. All they needed was proof, proof to expose me as the person I really am."
"Wait, who knew about the murder?"
"Me, Gozaburo, Seto, and Mokuba"
"Well, you we can rule out as a suspect. Everyone else, they had a motive, a motive to expose you."
"I know it wasn't Mokuba, he was the only one besides by mom, who liked me."
"So it was either Seto or Gozaburo."
"Yeah, but there is only one problem, after I left the Kaiba mansion. Not one of the family members even bothered to find out were I was."

"I still don't think we can rule out Gozaburo just yet. He also had a motive, he hated me probably worse than Seto hated me. He also tried killing me the night he killed my mom. Then he re-thought that because to have his wife and daughter die on the same night, would look a little too weird without a few questions coming. So to save himself, he blamed the whole thing on me. And well you know where the story goes from there."
"Hmmmmmmmmm, and how many other people were you planning to tell, Alexandra?" A voice said from behind them. When they turned around they saw Seto Kaiba standing in Lily's doorway holding the file that he had stolen earlier from the apartment, only a few hours earlier.
