It had been a difficult case and they were all exhausted when the once again walked in to the BAU but this time it was empty and there was only them in the entire FBI Head Quarters since everyone else had gone home for Christmas. This was their last case before the break and they all wanted to get their paperwork out of the road so they can go home and relax for the next couple of weeks. Hotch walked into his office and notice outside of his window that the snow began to fall heavily. He hoped that they won't get snowed in, well was he wrong. As he was doing his paper work there was a knock on the door, it was JJ.

"Umm...Hotch…"

"Yes?"

"This is kind of hard to say…but…um…"

"JJ what is it."

"We're snowed in!" He sighed and put his head in his hands.

"How long?"

"48 hours, if the weather continues like this and it looks like it's going to get worse so it might be longer."

"Do the others know?"

"No, I haven't told them yet; I thought I should tell you first and then tell them all together."

JJ stood up and went to leave the room when she was stopped.

"Wait a minute!"

"Yes,"

"How did you find out?"

"I went to leave and I couldn't so I rang SES and they told me the detail and the conditions."
"Ok, well round up the team and tell them meet us in the conference room as soon as possible and JJ…"

"Yes Sir."

"Tell them it's not another case, ok?"

"Yes Sir." As she left he sighed and looked out into the window. Damn weather!

oOoOoOoOo

Hotch stood there before the team and looked among the confused faces.

"You are all probably wondering why you are here. It turns out that we are snowed in."

"Is that a joke…?" Derek Morgan asked

"No." He wished he was joking though. "How long are we stuck in here for?"

"Well SES crews say for at least 48 hours." The look among the team's faces was priceless; you could have heard a pin drop.

"Well it looks like we are going to find our selves something to do for the next 48 hours then!"

"And another thing guys, I know we are stuck in the office and it seems like we should be doing work but I think we all deserve a break so try to relax." They all nodded as the left.

It was late and most of them have gone to see Garcia and tell her of what was happening. Hotch came out of his office to make him self a coffee. He noticed that Reid was the only one in the bullpen; he was staring into space as he often did. Hotch approached him "Reid?" the older agent asked.

"What?"

"You okay?"

"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Well you know my door is always open if you ever need to talk."

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind."

Hotch walked away, was he feeling what he think he was feeling? It was attraction.

oOoOoOoOo

Reid sat there. He watched as his superior walked up the stairs into his office, he saw him close his blinds; he knew he had to go in there and confess, but he could. He was arguing with him self in his head and before he knew it he was knocking on Hotch office door and he waited for the signal to come in.

"Finally decided to come and talk to me." Hotch could tell there was something wrong with Reid, after all he was a profiler. "Hotch there something I need to tell you…I've wanted to tell you for ages but…?" Hotch knew what he was talking about, and to tell the truth he felt the same way." I know you'll probably laugh at me and…" Before Reid could say anything else, he noticed that there was a very small gap between him and his boss "Don't Worry about"

Doing so Hotch and Reid closed the small distance between them. Hotch pressed his lips softly against the younger agents for a moment them they stood there in a tight embrace for a while and did want to let go.
