Eyes
In my eyes, you will see
A cool, calm, collected part of me
For I am not what I seem
The wisdom betrays the youth
That is me.
In my eyes, you will see
The fire burning inside of me
But I am not what I seem
Passionate bursts betrays the truth
That is me.
In my eyes, you will see
An intelligence that is me
But that is not what it seems
I am compassionate and peaceful
That is me.
In my eyes, you will see
A sparkle of life that is me
Truly, that is not all it seems
For I have a shrewd mind
That makes me, me.
