Walking down his long black cloak waving in the wind the rain darted his pale formed face also soaking his long braid and saddened mind. His boots squishing every now and then when he hit a puddle his ball cap was clipped to his belt and his closer blacker then normal for purposes he kept quiet.
His hands in his pants pocket and his eyes on his feet, He had been walking since this morning two days after his smiles faded. His feet had taken him, his mind wanting to forget but could he really forget...

Flames in the distance told him his friend in the Shen Long was in trouble. But he didn't not run so fast, he could feel the pain in his stomach, as he jogged he came across the Chinese man with burns and scraped that went so deep...

When brought to the apartment, Duo stood looking as if brain-dead, Heero helped him out of his wet clothes and put him into something warm and then into bed. Leaving him for only a few minutes to changes himself. Heero came back lying with his Duo and waiting as Duo wrapped himself around him. Duo's head listed to Heero's heart, but felt a hand tilt it up.
A light but passionate kiss was laid on his lips was welcome for he did not fight back. When broken he laid his head again on his Heero's chest, Heero's whisper coming to ears.
"Don't forget, I'm here to battle those demons." Listening and fearing sleep but waiting for his lovers face to save him
