Snape stared at the cauldron. But before he knew it, Harry was scribbling in his Potions book. Snape went over to look. This is what he saw:
Purple Kitten Potion:
Ingrediants:
Snake's fang(Three, coral snake)
Cat's whisker(Twenty-four, black, sorry, white)
Violet's petal(Three, Australian)
Porcupine quill(One, finely mashed)
Lion's mane(Oh, for Pete's sake! Three hairs!)
What to Do:
Boil one pint of water.
Add the violet petals.
Stir.
Wait three minutes.
Add quill with fangs among powder.
Within three seconds, add whiskers.
When potion turns blue and begins to smoke, add lion's mane.
Stand back.
It should explode within a few seconds.
Look in the cauldron to find a purple kitten.
Harry shut the book, gently grabbed he kitten, and ran from the room. Snape stared for a few seconds before tearing the page out of Harry's journal. He looked at the class. "Potion banned. Class dismissed."
After everyone left, Snape grabbed three snake fangs, twenty-four cat whiskers, three violet petals, one porcupine quill, and three hairs from a lion's mane. Within ten minutes he was escorting a purple kitten into the back room.
