"Eugene! Are you ready yet?" Rapunzel called from their room. Her husband still in the restroom. She wasn't even sure what he was doing in there. It felt like he'd been in there for hours. She pressed her hands onto her own bag but it wouldn't close. It was too full. She rested her hand on her hips and bit her bottom lip trying to figure another way to shut it. She hoisted herself up on the bed and sat on her bag and let out a cry of vicorty as she heard it shut.

"Rapunzel-!" She looked up at the sudden cry to see Eugene finally come out of the bathroom. He looked worried and distressed. She couldn't help the small amused smile the crept onto her lips.

"Something wrong?" She asked him.

"I thought you had hurt yourself." He said, letting out a sigh of relief when he saw she was fine.

"Why were you in the bathroom for so long?" Rapunzel asked, hopping off her suitcase and pulling it off the bed so it fell to the floor with a loud thud. "Oops." The princess muttered before looking back up at the love of her life. "Well?"

"The truth?" He asked.

"You were trying to hide from me? Like I wouldn't find you in the bathroom?" She raised her eyebrow. She had practically read his mind. She was good at that.

Eugene nodded slowly sitting on the bed they shared. The bed they wouldn't be able to share now that Rapunzel had made it clear there was no way of getting out of going to Arendelle to see her cousins.

"I just don't understand why it's so important to you." He had said one night while lying against the bed frame. The bathroom door open while Rapunzel slipped into her night gown and ran a hand threw her short hair. She was still getting used to it. All her life she had at least a foot of hair and now it wasn't even shoulder length.

She walked into their room and snuggled next to him and under the blankets.

"It's important to us." She corrected him pressing her lips to his cheek quickly. He rolled his eyes at her and shook his head.

"No. You. I could care less." He protested.

"Eugene…" She breathed out resting on her own side of the bed. "They just lost their parent's. Both of them." She reminded him.

"I know that. But isn't that their problem?" He asked. Rapunzel gasped slightly, hitting him in the shoulder. "Ow! What?" He asked. "It is. People should keep their personal life to themselves if you ask me." He mumbled leaning over and clicking the lamp off.

"They're family." Rapunzel said still trying to convince him that it would be a good thing. "It's gonna be fun. I promise." She said, creeping closer to him. She rested her hand on the middle of his chest and kissed him softly. "Please be excited." She muttered. Eugene sighed, defeated once again.

"Fine." He slipped his arms around her waist pulling her closer to him and kissing her again. Rapunzel giggled against his lips, she had won him over once again.

And that's how they ended up here, packing and almost out the door. Rapunzel bouncing at the balls of her feet. She had been doing that all week. Eugene was surprised she ever slept. He knew that's the type of reaction she wanted him to have as well but something was telling him that this trip was going to go wrong. Terribly terribly wrong. And when it did, he would have something to rub in his wife's face when they got back home. If they ever did get home.
