Hillside Memorial, Kenya Savannah near Mount Kilimanjaro
Fleet Admiral Lord Terrance Hood watched as the Separatist Phantom made is way to the Separatist Cruiser Shadow of Intent, which shortly left the system. Hood sighed and turned back towards the memorial. Memories of the Home Fleet battling the Covenant, the unexpected alliance of the Elites, the return of Sierra 117 and the Portal which led to the so called Ark flooded into Hood's mind. After a few minutes Lord Hood gave his final salute and walked back towards his waiting Pelican.

Aboard UNSC Forward Unto Dawn Aft Section
'It has been 4 years since we ended the Human – Covenant War. 4 years that we have been stranded in space.' Suddenly, the ships sirens began to blare. Cortana knew what was happening and started the wake up process of the legendary Master Chief who is in cyro for 4 years. "Chief wake up! CHIEF!" The Master Chief finally stirs and harshly open's the cyro pod with his hands and drifts to Cortana. After their brief reunion the room next to the cyro chamber exploded causing Master Chief to shield his eyes. He quickly plugs Cortana back into his helmet and using his booster thrusters, flies to the broken end of the ship to see what's happening. In front of him is something he never seen. A big blue portal.

Aboard UNSC Infinity
They had just located the Forward Unto Dawn's distress beacon and then found themselves heading towards an unknown planet with a giant hole in its side. Captain Andrew Del Rio was watching the front view screens with amazement when suddenly his bridge officer shouted "Captain" He turned around and watched the holographic model of his ship flicker. Suddenly, it turns red and then a symbol that he has never seen before appears on the holographic table. A woman who is talking to her son via a video call was suddenly cut short and is replaced by the same symbol. Suddenly, an orange glow passes throughout the ship and exits through the bridge. With that, all powers systems are offline. "All engines, reverse thrust!" cried the Del Rio as the ship was being pulled into the giant hole of the planet.

Inside the Planet Requiem
The Master Chief was walking silently away from the wreckage of the Froward Unto Dawn when suddenly a humongous ship appeared from the clouds behind him. The com then receives a distress message from Captain Del Rio "Mayday, Mayday. This is the captain of the UNSC Infinity. Unknown enemy has seized control of the ship - we're without power! We are on a collision course with an unidentified Forerunner planet." The Master Chief then said to his AI Companion "Mark its descent." Cortana then said "Marking. Impact predicted seventy seven point eight due north." Suddenly, a camouflaged sphere appeared behind the Master Chief which deactivates the Active Camouflage and scans the Chief with its orange beam. After that it took off after the powerless Infinity. Cortana then said "Know where he's heading" "Same place we are" the Master Chief finishes the sentence and sets off towards the Infinity.
