Seven Birthday Surprises

July 1st.

Lucy Heartfilia's special day.

Her birthday will be the best birthday ever, this year.

The birthday girl woke up to little blue mockingbirds chirping outside her bedroom window.

Better yet, there wasn't a single sign of Natsu this fine summer day!

Ironic.. Natsu means 'summer' too..

Lucy sat up and stretched by reaching her arms up in the air causing her to make a little 'peep!' to come out of her mouth.

She got up and walked over to the restroom to take a warm, relaxing bath.

She closed the door behind her and locked it in case a certain someone came for a little visit.

She stripped out her clothes and slowly sat into the tub, resting her head back on the towel she laid out.

The blonde mage took the bottle of vanilla body wash and squirted some onto her hand.

She rubbed the body wash all over her arms and the rest of her body, filling the tub up with soapy bubbles.

After 30 minutes she got up and dried off using her special pink towel.

She chose her out for the day: a pale blue and white button up top with a white mini skirt.

She tied her hair up into a pony tail and checked herself out in the mirror.

"Perfect" she whispered and smiled.

She opened the door of her bathroom to find 7 round, golden brown blueberry pancakes stacked on top of each other on a plated laid out on her dining table.

She gasped and walked over to it.

She saw a chocolate syrup note written on top, reading: Happy Birthday Luce! –Fairy Tail'

She giggled softly. Natsu probably told Mira to write that on them, she thought.

She looked all around the plate and found berries surrounding the first few pancakes on the bottom.

It contained strawberries, blueberries, slices of kiwis, blackberries, and slices of bananas. Kiwis courtesy of Pantherlily.. she thought.

The celestial mage sat down and ate her pancakes happily.

Today was surely going to be a great day.
