Disclaimer: I do not own Maleficent.
Diaval had spoke about how much he preferred being in his natural raven body. He liked the freedom, the feathers, but especially, he liked flying. And, as his wife, Aurora paid attention to the little remarks. She knew all the fairies and she had been told by many how much fun flying was. She had listened and remembered all the times Maleficent had mused about her missing wings. So one day, while her husband was out stretching his wings, she spoke with Maleficent.
"If you can turn Diaval into a person can you turn me into a raven?" She asked casually.
"I can." Maleficent said hesitantly. "Is that your desire?"
"Just for a little while. I want to know what it's like to fly." She said. Maleficent nodded and waved her hand, her wings spreading out behind her slightly as golden glitter moved towards the blond
"To raven." She said softly before watching the girl transform into a crow, standing on the dirt before the fairy's feet. Aurora flapped her wings experimentally a few times before she began to rise off the ground. Maleficent smiled as she rose with her into the sky. The two flew around for a moment before another raven, slightly bigger than Aurora approached. He looked at the girl hesitantly before looking at Maleficent. She laughed. "Yes, Diaval, Aurora." She motioned between the two as if introducing the husband and wife.
"For you." She whispered as they walked back to the castle as Maleficent flew off to the moor.
"And will you do it again?" He asked as his hand slipped into hers. She smiled at him with love.
"Most definitely. Flying is everything everyone made it out to be and more." She smiled wistfully.
"So you enjoyed it." He smiled. She nodded at him and laughed.
"I did." She smiled. He laughed as he grabbed her by the waist and lifted her slender body above his head. She laughed and held her arms out and he 'flew' her back to the castle, laughing the whole way. Maleficent watched from above with a proud smile as she flapped her magnificent wings before allowing the powerful muscles to propel her back to her home in the moor.
