"I don't see how you can't understand this," Michael said, giving Zachariah a perplexed looked as he paced back and forth in front of him. Since Zach was the only person around and being that he was an angel, Michael didn't have to worry about having a vessel to appear to him.

Zachariah rolled his eyes irritably and spat, "I understand it well enough. Dean's will is going to be the death of the entire human race."

Michael stopped pacing and shook his head. "No. He won't," he said evenly.

"And how's that?" Zachariah countered, not bothering to hide his annoyance and wroth.

Even though his tone felt like a prick on Michael's side, he decided to ignore it and continue on with what he was going to say. "Yes, our father gave humans free will," he said, "but it is our job to manipulate it. We learn their personalities, and how they react to things. Using this, we provide the proper obstacles to mold them into what we want.

"It doesn't matter that we can't find Dean right now," Michael continued. "Because we already know how to push his buttons," he smirked at Zachariah with his statement, as if he wanted to say 'Well, I do, but you don't,' but suppressed the urge. "We simply have to wait until he or his brother slip and let us find them. Believe me, they will. The Winchesters are only human, and humans are not perfect."

Zachariah sighed heavily and looked away. "They aren't just any humans either."

Michael smiled and said, "That's why I have faith that he will say yes."
