Hidan watched her from the trees, almost as if not disturbing. She paid no attention toward him there, as she didn't know. How Hidan loved her, thinking about her every day. She seemed not to notice him most of the time. The one he loved, her name was Temari.
Ever since Konoha, Suna, and the Akatsuki had agreed with each other to stop further bloodshed, it was a common sight to see members of the Akatsuki about both villages, doing normal business. Hidan enjoyed Konoha more than Suna, because he didn't like the intense heat of the desert.
Temari was staying in Konoha on a small vacation. Hidan was very happy at the news, and had wanted to tell her his feelings towards her. He was slightly worried at what her response would be, knowing what he put Shikamaru through with killing his master. He had apologized for doing it, saying it was under orders, but he understood Shikamaru could never fully forgive him.
While watching her train, she seemed to notice his presence in the trees. "Hidan? Is that you?" she asked. "Aw hell, you got me." He said walking out form the trees so he could be seen. "I noticed you've been watching me lately, Hidan. Is there some reason behind it?" she pondered. "Temari, I just wanted to say that I… I love you Temari. I have since I caught glimpse of you." Hidan admitted, embarrassed at what he had said. Temari was shocked.
She was barely able to get the words out of shock. "You, you love me Hidan?" Hidan could only nod his head. "Hidan, I have si-" Whatever she was about to say was cut off by Hidan sealing a kiss onto her lips. It lasted for a few brief seconds, then Hidan broke away. "I, I'm sorry. I'll just leave now." Hidan said shocked what he had done and started walking away.
Hidan felt awful at what he had done. He was about to walk away when he felt a hand grab him arm and pull him back. Hidan was pulled back towards Temari as she kissed him. Hidan was in complete shock and awe. When they finally pulled away from the kiss, both stood with the same look on their faces, a seemingly permanent blush. Temari spoke up. "Hidan. I feel the same way you do. I was too embarrassed to say it." Hidan grinned and picked her up.
Hidan walked with Temari in his arms over to a bench a few hundred feet away. Hidan sat down, and held her closer to him. Rain fell on the couple, drenching them both. Temari was colder, not being used to a cooler climate. Hidan quickly realized that, and gave her his cloak to keep her warm. They went back to her apartment. They laid in her bed, and fell asleep in each other's arms. Hidan thought before drifting off, 'This is great.'
