With-in The Demon

Long ago in a forgotten village lay a family of two Uchiha and their step-father. The Uchiha were asleep in their beds and Kakashi asleep on the couch. There was a sudden crash but only Sasuke was to stir from his slumber. He awoke with his vision blurred from sleepiness but he caught site of an orange jump suit leaving through the front door. He tried to give chase but this guy was fast, or Sasuke was still tired. He could barely keep up with him. First a right turn, then a left, then Sasuke smiled. A dead end. The orange jump suit stopped so suddenly that Sasuke almost ran through him, but Sasuke paused in the same second the jump suit had.

"Dead end." Announced Sasuke.

"your right, it is a dead end…..."

Sasuke instantly recognized the voice and knew what was going to happen in the next few minutes. "…..but, not for me." He finished with a broad grin as two solitary figures dropped behind Sasuke. One of the figures struck Sasuke on the back of his neck and he fell to his knees. Naruto's broad grin turned into a de-meaning chuckle and then into a mocking laugh. Sasuke managed to look behind but he knew who it was before he had. It was Naruto's two cronies. Kiba and Shikamaru. Together the three of them were a powerful force on the streets. Shikamaru, the smart one, knows what there victim is going to do before they themselves do. Kiba, this guy brings the muscle to the team. He can lift three of the heaviest kids in Sasuke's high school with ease. Then there's Naruto. He not smart like Shikamaru, or strong like Kiba, but he's got more guts than anyone. Once he sets his mind to something, it gets done. No matter how dangerous or impossibly seeming. It was these traits of these three that people feared. If they only set there minds to it they could really help the village from the slump it was in. but they had chosen the life of crime and punishment. Sasuke slowly got to his feet and yelled a battle cry.
"You want a piece of me? Come and get some!" he charged at Naruto, his knife drawn. At first this desperate act startled Naruto but when he took in the knife he pulled himself into a defensive stance but before he could do anything a cry of pain emerged from Sasuke's throat. Kiba had appeared in front of Sasuke and kicked him into the air. The knife leaving his hand and falling uselessly to the side. He landed on his back with a thump and Naruto was upon him immediately with his own knife at the ready. Before Sasuke could try to move Kiba and Shikamaru grabbed a shoulder each and held him down. The last thing Sasuke remembered was the knife coming down towards his throat, seemingly in slow-motion, and then, darkness.
