A/N: A little something different than CAILEY.. I love 'em, but I wanted to try a different approach: London Tipton and Mr. Moseby:)

She stares at the rejection letter; one of the many she has received. It doesn't seem fair to her. Why can't she be smart like her other friends? She can't even get into a decent college.

Her father didn't agree to bribe her way into a college, so she has to apply like any other 'normal' person. But we all know that London Tipton is not normal. Not in a bad way, of course. She's just special. Maybe that's why she has so many friends that aren't just around her for money, but who actually like her for her.

Anyways, once she gets accepted, then her father will pay.

London begins to cry, letting her tears fall onto the page that has ruined her life a little. She looks to her left at the envelopes on Bailey's bed. Probably all acceptance, and she wasn't even a senior yet. Bailey wasn't there, but off with her friends that had futures. Unlike London.

London wipes her wet face, smearing her black mascara all over her eyes and the back of her hand. She folds the letter neatly and gets up from the bed. She walks over to her desk, opens the drawer, and places the paper in a pink folder containing the other rejections.

London pulls off a small sticky-note from the corner of the folder and adds a tally mark. "Rejection number eight," she manages to say with a lump in her throat. Fighting back a sob, she puts the folder back in the drawer quietly.

As she makes her way to her bed, a soft knock is at her door. "Who is it?" she asks, her voice cracking.

"London, it's me."

London steps toward the voice and slowly opens the door to let Mr. Moseby in. "Hi Moseby."

"I have another letter for you," he says, handing it to her. "Boston University.. It's a smaller college, but it's better than nothing."

London hesitates and looks down. "I don't want it."

"London, this could be the one," Mr. Moseby assures.

"You're said that about the last four letters, and I didn't get in to any of those..." London defends, hoarsely.

"You never know," Mr. Moseby urges. "Take the letter."

London presses her lips together to form a straight line. "Plus, I applied to nine colleges and I've been turned down eight times.. This is my last chance.."

"You can always apply to others.."

London took a deep breath. "Will you stay in here as I open it?"

Mr. Moseby smiles. "Of course, London."

London grins and lets Mr. Moseby in, shutting the door behind him.

"I see that Bailey has some mail," Mr. Moseby says, not trying to hurt London, but to start conversation.

London just nods and begins to open the letter.

"London, wait a second," Mr. Moseby commands. London pauses. "I want you to know that whatever happens, I will always be by your side."

She smiles. "Thanks Moseby." She pulls out the paper from the envelope and carefully reads it. When finished, she drops it, and begins to cry.

Mr. Moseby picks up the letter and reads for himself.

Dear Miss Tipton,

We at Boston University would like to congratulate you for your acceptance to our school. We take pride in our students and are glad to call you one. Please inform us if you are interested in joining our family.

Sincerely,

Michael Johnson

BU Administration

Mr. Moseby sets down the letter and pulls London into a hug. "I'm so proud of you."

London smiles, knowing now that she is accepted.
