Story Time
Summary: Inuyasha gets a complaint from a mystery shopper and decides that it's Story Time for Kagome and Kaoru.
Kagome and Kaoru were Checking (1) when they heard, "Kagome and Kaoru come to the break room." from the loud speaker. " Misao, Shippo can you cover for us real quick?" asked Kagome. "Sure." and Kagome and Kaoru went upstairs to the break room. "Any idea why we're going to the break room?" "Nope. Maybe Inuyasha wants to yell at someone today." "Great. I hope on day his voice goes out." "Don't we all wish that." the two girls laughed until they entered the Break room and saw a smiling Inuyasha. "Oh no." whispered Kagome. "Sit down you two." He said still smiling. The two obeyed instantly. "How 'bout I tell you two a story OK? It's story time." Their eyes widen, "I don't think he's sane right now." "Me too!" they whispered "Once upon a time there was a store, this store did good business and made a lot of money," Kagome and Kaoru looked at each other confused. "This store was rated, on a scale from one to ten, nine. That was until a mystery shopper came in one day and complained that a certain checker was rude and gave the store a poor rating!" he yelled. Kagome and Kaoru almost fell out of their seats in terror. "Do you two have any idea why I'm so upset right now!" "No." "Because that store was us!" "I thought this was story time, not yell at the innocent time!" cried Kaoru "Did they write a report?" Kagome asked "Of course they did!" "Is our names on it?" "No." "Oh thank goodness." they sighed "That's not the point!" he barked "Eek!" Kagome and Kaoru held each other "We were rated higher than the other stores!and now...!" "Why are you yelling at us?" they cried, "Why not yell at everyone instead of pointing fingers at the innocent." "You two are never innocent! Now when you two go back to checking tell Megumi and anyone who checks today about this and make sure no one does it again!" they rapidly nodded their heads " sure thing boss. May we go now?" "Go!" they zoomed out as fast as they could. "What was all that yelling about?" Asked Megumi "The boss is mad!" said Kaoru "Why?" "Some mystery shopper complained about a checker being rude and he's upset cause we lost our high rating." said Kagome, "he called it Story time." "Story time?" Megumi raised a brow, "That man. He get heated over tiny complaints like rudeness." "You didn't have to go through it!" complained Kaoru "Are you kidding me? I heard it!" "HUH!" "He was so loud the I'm sure the whole store heard it!" "I thought stories were suppose to be fun!" said Kagome looking like she was going to cry. "Me too!" said Kaoru looking the same way. "Get back to work!" he shouted
