What happens when a new vampire comes into the Cullen house hold? What if she could see the future but with no limitations like Alice? Will Alice be the thing of the past?
Chapter One
APOV
I was lying on the couch with Jasper when I saw it. Carlisle, Esme, Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper and I were all in the living room with another vampire. Her eyes were red, but she seemed calm and composed, not like most nomads. We were all talking, but we were not as defensive as we usually would be.
I woke up from my vision, to see Jasper calmly staring down at me from his place on the couch.
"What did you see?" He said in his soft voice that I so loved.
"There was another vampire here with us. He wasn't like us so Edward and Bella were not there. We were all talking to her and we seemed at ease with her."
"What were we talking about?" He pressed on.
"I-I couldn't hear, it sounded like we were all under water." I said.
"Alright, let's go tell Carlisle.
Jasper and I walked, hand in hand to Carlisle's office where we found him quickly flipping through the pages of a thick medical journal from what seemed, the late 1800's. He looked up with his serene, fatherly face in an eternal smile.
"Yes?" He asked
"Alice had a vision." My husband answered for me.
Carlisle looked over to me with curious eyes.
"Everyone except for Edward and Bella was down in the living room. We were with another vampire, but she wasn't like us."
"Was she a threat?" Carlisle asked. His smile, though remaining on his face, quivered with the speed that even I could barely see it move.
"Not that I could see. She was unlike any nomadic vampire I had ever seen. She was calm and composed, not jittery at all. "
"Well it seems that she poses no threat, we will wait for her. Do you know when she will come?" He asked, his miniscule worry had vanished and he looked once again fully calm and serene.
"Soon…She will come very soon."
