How Does It Feel?

'Dammit Yami, why did you have to choose her?' Yuugi thought with tears running down his face, as he ran through the halls of Domino High School with no particular destination.
"HEY YUUG' WAIT UP!" Jou yelled as he ran after Yuugi.
But Yuugi didn't stop. He couldn't stop thinking about what had happened. Anzu had just kissed Yami. And Yami kissed her back. More tears ran down Yuugi's face. 'It isn't fair.' He thought. He had been in love with Yami for so long. He ran into an old classroom and leaned against the wall to catch his breath. He slid to floor, pulled his knees to his face and started crying some more.
Jou came in the room panting. "Jeez Yuug' why'd ya run outta the room like that. An' why are ya cryin'."
"Jou, can I ask you a question?"
"Anything."
"How does it feel when you see Kaiba with Mai?"
"Yuug' what are ya-"
"I've seen the way you look at him. The way you brighten up when he walks in the room. The slight anger you in your eyes when you see Mai come in after him."
Jou sighed and sat next to Yuugi. He didn't realize anyone had noticed any of those things.
"Well, for one thing, it sucks. To see 'im with her is like a stab in the chest. Every time they kiss I wanna cry. Ever since freshman year I've been try'in to get his attention but then she comes along and I don't even exist to him unless it's to insult me." He smiled sadly. "Sometimes I wonder if he ever liked me the way I like him, ya know." Jou finished.
Yuugi just looked at him, eyes still shimmering with tears. He hadn't realized Jou had fallen that hard for Kaiba." I think I understand how you feel." Yuugi said.
Jou looked at him. "How?" he asked.
"Because I feel the same way about Yami and seeing him kiss Anzu I kind of lost it. He never even said anything about liking her before."
"Yuug' everything is gonna be fine. One day there's gonna be someone else who you're gonna like an' they're gonna like you back."
"Yeah sure but even if that does happen it still won't be Yami and he's the only one I want."
