personality of Dawson isn't for real, but I really dont want to see him and
Joey get together. Right now I want Joey and Charlie to be together. They'd
be good for eachother.

Dawson cleared his throat and motioned for the D.J. to play the music. NSYNC's 'It Makes Me Ill' Filled the area. All eyes were on him, especially Joey and Charlie's.
"This is to Joey Potter, the love of my life and Charlie Todd, the guy that took her away." He looked down for a second at the peice of paper with the scribbled lyrics on it and began to sing along with Justin Timberlake.
"I was hanging with the fellas, saw you with your new boyfriend, it made me jealous. I was hoping that I'd never see you wit him, but its all good cuz I'm glad that I met him. Huh, cuz now I know the compitition is very slim, to none, and I can tell by looking that he's not the one, hes not the type you said you liked, his styles not right, clothes are bad, come on girl let him go, I want you back."
Joey and Charlie, both stood stunned. Charlie slowly dropped his arm that was casually draped on her shoulders. She didnt want to listen any more. She took one last look at Dawson Leary, her best friend, and turned to leave.
"Joey?" Charlie said questioningly and took her hand.
She turned to face him. "I dont wanna listen to this. He shouldn't try to embarass us like this. He did the same exact thing to me before. He left me for someone else. And I dont have to deal with the fact that I've moved on. If you wanna stay and watch his boy-band preformance. Go ahead. I'm leaving." She let go of his hand and ran out of sight. Charlie stood dumbfounded. Of course he was going to go after her. He managed his way through the crowd.
Dawson spotted them both running away and stopped his singing. Everyone clapping along stopped and starred. The music drowned on as he just stood and watched the departing figures of the one he loved and her new man. He let the peice of paper drop to the stage floor and walked down the stage stairs to where Jack, Pacey, and Audrey stood, amazed at the scene before them.
