Just a Kiss
Kallen treasures her first kiss. She wanted it to be memorable, that's why she tried hard to catch the cat when Milly promised that one of the student council members would kiss the catcher. She doesn't want to kiss just anybody.
She wanted it to be with someone she loves…and that someone was Zero. She wasn't a person who gives a damn whether Zero was handsome or not, because she loves him no matter how he looks like. Maybe for some it was crazy …falling in love with a person you haven't seen the face of; but it was logical for her, since she values personality more.
Well, she definitely wanted a kiss from Zero…that was before she discovered that Zero and Lelouch was one and the same person.

She knew where to find him and was shocked to see him with a Refrain. She told him that she would do anything for him and she was taken aback when Kallen heard what Zero or Lelouch needed.
It was also what she wanted right? But the person in front of him is not the same person she knew. She needed to wake him up and she doesn't want a kiss from him that will feel wrong.
Slap.
Yes, she still loves Zero and with that, she acknowledged that she loves the man behind the mask as well…she loves Lelouch.
She needed and wanted him back to his usual self.

Kallen was tinkering with something and she was distracted by Lelouch's words. She lost her footing…and fell on top of him. They nearly kissed because of the accident. It was a bit awkward.
She felt relieved that she was able to put distance between their faces. Kissing him by accident was not what she wanted after all.

They were now at the stairs and Kallen wanted some answers, but Lelouch remained silent and even refused to look her in the eyes. She was going to lay her last card now.
She kissed him. He was surprised.
It was what she wanted…what she longed for. But, she still doesn't know if Lelouch felt the same way.
It was her first kiss and it was his last. It may be just a kiss for others…just a physical contact of two people's lips. But, it was everything for the both of them.
She pulled back.
Lelouch had been kissed by other girls, but it was Kallen's kiss that he longed for.
He wanted to ask her to be by his side, just like the times when he was still Zero and not the emperor. He wanted his Q1 to be with him…he needed her. But he chose to be unselfish, for he wanted her to live…for he loves her.
"Farewell…"
She was a Black Knight and he was the Emperor. They had to mask their feelings.

The world is now a better and more peaceful place and Kallen Kozuki just finished her homework.
She yawned and decided that it was time for bed. She placed two fingers on her lips and then placed those fingers on the lips of a young man. It was just a picture of him, but it will do.
She will love him…always.
