Sherlock had been watching from his flat window. "John. I need you, come here." he shouted. Mrs. Hudson entered the open door. The door that was always left open as if the two men couldn't be bothered by closed quarters. "Sherlock, dear. Why all the shouting?" she asked quizzically. Sherlock shooed her out, motioning with his hands to leave. "Fine. You know I'm not useless. Call if you need me." Mrs. Hudson said as she left the room.
Just then, Watson entered the room. "Sherlock? What is it now?" he asked. Holmes turned 180 degrees faster than a soldier, "What isn't it is more the question you should be asking, John". Dr. Watson walked over to the desk and dropped today's newspaper down on top of the closed laptop. Sherlock observed the paper thoroughly, not moving an inch from the window. "What is it this time?" John then explained, "There have been more sightings... this time near Downing Street" he paused, "except this time, it was seen flying in this direction instead of vanishing into thin air like all the other times."
"A mysterious blue box, similar to a 1960's Police Telephone Box pops up all over London. Sightings began in 1963 but became increasingly numerous in the last 4 months. One woman I visited today told me that there was a man in the box who travels through time and space. Her eyes were as honest as a saint but then again, time and space, nutjob to be presumed. She then directed me to an address... and a name." Watson stared in amazement for a second or two, then regained his speech. "This is good. I mean, *eherm* yeah, this is good! We have an address and a name which means we might be able to figure out what exactly is going on around here."
The two exited their flat and went down to the street. Sherlock whistled for a cab and off they went. Two hours and a couple of coffees later, the men arrived at the address given.
"One Sarah-Jane Smith, 13 Bannerman Road in Ealing." mumbled Watson. "We're here." stated Sherlock.
