Rain was falling over Konoha, in the middle of the town is the memorial stone, a place where all great shinobi die for the village, and standing right there, was a figure, a man perhaps, his hair shining and reflecting each raindrop, there, he was crying, tears that blended with the rain, sorrow coming out...

Kakashi Hatake was the most constant person to visit the stone in honor of his old teammate, Obito Uchiha, to whom he got his Sharingan from...that day also is when Naruto came behind him without Kakashi even noticing.

"Kakashi-sensei, is this why you're always late?" Naruto asked

Kakashi said nothing, he just stood there, quietly looking at the names engraved on that stone.

"Kakashi-sensei, answer me, is this why you're always so—"

"Yes" Kakashi replied, with a hint of sadness in his speech

Naruto was surprised, he never saw his sensei like this, he always viewed him to keep his emotions intact, after all, it's a shinobi rule

"Why do you go here?" Naruto asked with curiosity

"Because...as I said before...all those precious to me are dead, and they're names are engraved on this stone, each time I come here, it helps me forgive my teammates and my father, but I know, I can never forgive myself, I can't even look at myself straight in the mirror without being reminded..." Kakashi said with sorrow.

"Reminded of what?"

"Of all the things my friends did for me, but now, it's too late"

"But sensei, you still have us, now we're your friends, but, I know what it's like to be alone, but, I learned and I saw, there's more to life than being alone..."

Kakashi smiled under his mask, Naruto didn't know, but he smiled too...
