AN: Another take on the ending of Sweeney Todd, and what went through their heads. This one turned out short, and not really what I expected. But enjoy anyway!
Nellie couldn't believe what she was hearing. Mr. Todd, the man who she had lied to about his dead wife, the man she loved was offering her the life she always wanted; A life with him. He smiled at her with an angelic look plastered on his face as if he were an angel himself, not the hellish barber who stole the lives of others.
Nellie Lovett couldn't believe it when Sweeney Todd took her up in his arms and waltzed around the filthy, bloodied bake house with her. She melted in his arms, and smiled at her angelic barber. But yet, she was not completely relaxed, for the hounding thought of him wearing the blood of not only Judge Turpin, but Beadle Bamford and Lucy Barker on his once-white shirt and dark gray vest was tormenting her. His pale face also had the crimson rubies splashed all over, even running through the white stripe in his hair. His angelic smiles almost trumped his devilish appearance. Almost.
Nellie Lovett was under his spell, believing him to really have forgiven her. She sang with him with ease, finding herself completely relaxed. The roar of the oven even melted away as she danced with Sweeney Todd.
Nellie Lovett still loved Sweeney Todd as he threw her into the oven. His angel-like smiles dissolved into snarls of the devil, and she knew she was staring into the black depths of Hell when she met Sweeney Todd's hateful stare. Yet now as she burns and shrivels, Nellie Lovett sees Sweeney Todd as the angel he once was.
