(Vee comes right downstairs to the kitchen.)

Vee: [Sighs Heavily]

Oxana: "Is something the matter, Vee?"

Vee: "I can't even whistle, but everybody in Pennsylvania can."

Oxana: "Never mind that for now, I'm making goblin cookies, would you like to lick the spoon?"

Vee: "No thank you, Mom, can I call Poppy instead?"

Oxana: "Okay, Vee."

[Wireless Telephone Noises]

Oxana: "Hello, Mrs. Peepleson."

Oxana: "Hello, Mrs. Peepleson, can Vee speak with Poppy, please?"

Vee: "Hi there, Poppy."

Poppy: "Hi there, Vee, what are you doing?"

Vee: "I'm learning how to whistle, but I just can't do it yet."

Poppy: "Hmm...that sounds hard."

Vee: "It's impossible, uh...can you even whistle, Poppy?"

Poppy: "No."

Vee: "Oh good, I mean-that's disturbing if you can't even whistle, but good 'cause I can't even whistle."

Poppy: "What's whistling anyhow?"

Vee: "You pucker your mouth a bit then gently blow it all out."

Poppy: "Like this?"

Poppy: [Whistles Loudly]

(Vee hangs up the wireless telephone.)

Poppy: "Hello? Vee? hello?"

(Oxana opens up the kitchen oven with oven mitts on her hands and picks up the baking tray full of goblin cookies.)

Oxana: "The goblin cookies are finished baking."

Boris: "Oh good, goblin cookies."

Drake (leaning right over on his chair): "Wooooow."

Oxana: "They'll be hot, you should blow on them 1st."

Boris: "Ooh, ah!"

(Boris blows right on the goblin cookie.)

Drake: [Laughs A Bit]

(Drake blows right on the other goblin cookie.)

Oxana: "Do you not want a goblin cookie, Vee?"

Vee: "No thanks, Mom, (she walks away.) I think I might go outside and be on my own for a bit."

(Cut to Vee going outside and opening the front door.)

Boris: "Can you even whistle yet?"

Vee: "It's no use, Dad, I'm never gonna be able to whistle, ever."

Boris: "Have you been practicing?"

Vee: "Yes, lots of times, but it doesn't even work."

Oxana: "You need a little bit of rest and relaxation, Vee, here, have a goblin cookie, it's hot, you should blow."

Vee: [Blows Softer And Harder]

Vee: [Continues Blowing Softer And Harder]

Vee: [Whistles A Bit]

Vee: "Oh, what did I just do?"

Boris: "I think you just whistled a bit there, Vee."

Vee: [Takes Deep Breath]

Vee: [Whistling 3 Blind Mice]

Vee: [Giggles A Bit]

Oxana: "What a lovely cheerful tune."

Narrator: "Vee's finally learned how to whistle."

Vee: [Laughs A Bit] "I can finally whistle right now!"

Vee: [Whistling Circus Theme Tune]
