"Skill let's go out!"
Skill looked up from his handheld and stared at his brother with an unamused look on his face
Go out?
"Why?" Skill asked.
"It's christmas and I'm off that's why."
Skill looked back down at his handheld. "Go with Nice."
Art sighed.
His relationship with Skill had been like this for a few months now and was steadily going further and further down hill. Art could only blame himself for it though. He had been working constantly and the few times he wasn't overworking himself he spent it with Nice.
"Skill..." Art sat down on the couch beside Skill.
If he couldn't spend time out with his brother then he would simply spend time inside with him.
"What are you doing?" Skill asked not bothering to look up from his game.
"Spending time with you."
Skill put his game on stand by and sighed. "Fine I'll go with you just stop staring."
Art beamed. "Really!"
"Really. Now stop staring at me and get dressed before I change my mind; it's creepy."
Art hopped off the couch smiling. He couldn't remember the last time he spent some time alone with his little brother.

Skill shivered. It was a lot colder then he thought it would be.
"I told you to bring a jacket." Art teased.
Skill blushed embarrassed. "S-Shut up."
With a sigh Art happily slid off his jacket and put it around Skill. He would happily be cold if it meant his little brother was warm.
"But aren't you cold?"
"I rather be cold then watch my little brother freeze to death because he didn't listen to me."
Skill pouted and then quietly mumbled. "Thank you."
Art smiled then wrapped his arms around Skills arm and leaned on him. "Skill I'm hungry."
"Then lets get something to eat."
"Yeah... but where?"
Skill almost found himself glaring at Art. "Somewhere that's open?"
Art sighed. "So unspecific."
He then started leading his brother towards Cafe Nowhere.
"Don't tell me we're going where I think we're going."
"Yeup."
Skill groaned. He didn't like Nowhere. He felt out of place as if he didn't belong. Nice was the only one there Skill knew. Everyone else was essentially strangers and well Skill didn't like strange people. That was possibly one of the reasons why he and his brothers relationship was detoriating.
It didn't take long for them to reach the bar. It wasn't exactly far from where they were previously at.
Art walked into the Cafe, and Skill reluctantly followed. Inside was a decent amount of people. More then Skill could count on his fingers. They were all talking to each other. Making jokes and laughing. Only stopping to greet Art then resume whatever they were talking about.
"I don't want to be here..." Skill mumbled
Art looked at Skill sadly. "I'll be quick." He said, then walked over to Nice and sat down on a stool beside him. Skill quickly followed suit and sat down beside his brother.
Nice looked at Skill and smiled. "Hey Skill. Art dragged you here?"
Skill nodded his head and smiled faintly. "Yeah." He said quietly. For some reason Skill couldn't bring himself to stay in a bad mood around Nice.
"He came willingly." Art said.
Art ordered some food for Skill and himself then started talking to Nice about things that Skill couldn't keep up with.
Often the other people in the bar would speak up and add onto their conversation. Almost like a scripted cutscene in a tv show, and Skill felt like he was an uninvolved viewer simply watching the events unfold. Events he had no relavence in. As if he didn't matter.
I want to go home.
some time after finishing their food Art Suddenly stood up. "Alright let's go Skill." Art said. Smiling down at Skill. Whom stared back at him wide eyed.
If Skill didn't know any better he would have assumed his brother was reading his mind.
Nice looked at Art and pouted. "Already? But you just got here."
"I'll come another day. See ya around." Art said, and Skill took that as the cue and hopped off the stool and headed towards the door. However he did look back at a girl sitting on the other side of Nice. He would always see her here the few times he actually went to the place
"...Hajime." Skill mumbled quietly, then walked outside. Art following behind after saying goodbye to everyone.
They started walking around. Skill's eyes sparkling at some of the decorations.
Art simply watched his brother. Staring at him with a gentle fondness.
Skill stopped looking at the decorations briefly to look at Art and saw him shiver. Skill looked down at the jacket he was wearing and then up at the sky.
"It's snowing." Skill said.
Art nodded his head. "Yeah."
"Want to go back home?" Skill asked.
"Are you sure you want to go back so early?" Art asked.
Skill nodded his head. "Yeah I rather be inside where it's warm anyway."
Art smiled. "Okay then let's go."
Then they went home.

Once they were back and settled in Art turned on the heater and then ran into the shower.
Skill chuckled and decided he would also take a shower after Art got out, and he did. Immediately after Art got out Skill rushed inside. Art watched the door close and tried to come up with something for them to do.
Grabbing a blanket out of his room Art walked into Skills room and sat down. He was pretty sure his brother would probably head straight to bed after getting out the shower so if he wanted to spend anymore time with him he would have to camp out in his room.
And he did. Sitting on Skills bed for about half an hour until Skill finally came into his room with some pajama's on and towel drapped over his shoulder.
"Why are you in my room?" Skill asked. Sounding greatly confused.
"Waiting for you."
"Why...?"
"To spend more time with you."
Skill looked at him suspiciously then sat down on his bed beside him.
"I'm actually kinda sleepy." Skill said.
Art hummed then wrapped his arms around Skill bringing both of them down and onto the bed. "Then we can sleep together." Art said.
Skill looked at Art then sighed and smiled. "Don't get mad at me if you get kicked a couple of times."
Art cuddled Skill. "If you can do anything in this position." Art taunted
Skill grumbled something before closing his eyes. He wasn't going to admit to his brother that actually wanted to stay like this, or how he missed the bond they use to have. No he was only going to say one thing.
"I love you brother."
Art was taken a back but he simply smiled and hugged Skill tighter. "I love you too Skill."
