Prologue: The Death Of A Legend
"Gotham city, my home, my responsibility. My name is Bruce Wayne I am the Batman I have been since my parents were murdered in front of my eyes I was only eight years old when that happened-" Bruce thought and was cut off.
"Can we go now?" Robin asked.
"Fine." Batman said, "Let's go see what Jim has for us." He said looking up at the Bat-signal.
"Can I drive?" Robin asked.
"No." Batman said.
"I know how." Robin said.
"I know you've been saying that since you were ten and the answer is still no." Batman said getting in the Batmobile. They drove off away from Crime Ally where Bruce's life changed forever "Why don't you want to visit the spot where you Grandparents were killed?" Batman asked.
"We have people to protect and that was delaying us." Robin said but Batman wasn't paying attention he was lost in thought he didn't even notice the Venom upped Bane charging toward the car.
"FATHER!" Robin shouted a second too late Bane punched the car causing the two crime-fighters to go flying both landed on the cold hard ground, "Oh crap." Robin said getting to his feet, "Not him."
"¡Buenas noches permanentemente Batman!" Bane said.
"Not tonight Bane." Batman growled the Dynamic Duo charged the monstrous man they each threw an explosive Batarang which had little effect followed by two fist to the face and a double kick to the back and Bane didn't fall down once. Batman then threw Robin up on Bane's head as the police arrived Bane threw Robin into a car and it rolled over on top of him. With half the equation neutralized Bane turned his attention to Batman, the bane of his existence. Bane grabbed his head and threw Batman against a SWAT van Batman left a dent in the van.
"Batman no!" Robin shouted trying to push the car off. Bane then grabbed Batman by the leg and threw him through a window Batman threw a Batarang trying to cut the tubes that pump Venom in to Bane's brain for the first time he missed, Bane walked up and punched him through the store into the back room Bane walked towards him.
"With your death I will have peace at last." Bane said smiling evilly.
"No I need to help him" Robin said again attempting to push the car up. Robin watched in horror as Bane picked up the Batman over his head on the roof of the building.
"¡Ahora rompo el Bate!" (Now I break the Bat) Bane shouted and dropped Batman on his knee the crack of his back could be heard all across Gotham Batman fell to the ground blood pouring out of his cowl Bane jumped off the top of the building Bane grabbed Batman by the neck, "¡Ahora que termino el Batman!" (Now I end the Batman) then it happened he broke the neck of the Batman.
"Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!" Robin shouted, "Batman!" Robin finally got out from under the car he slipped on brass knuckles and with one swift fluent punch knocked Bane out, he then with the help of the GCPD pulled the tubes of Venom out of Bane, "Take him to Arkham." Robin said breathing heavily he then rushed to his father's side Robin removed his hood and checked for a pulse, none turned on his shock gloves punched where his heart would be multiple times, none. "Oh no, no, No, NO!" Robin ended up shouting he turned to the crowd, "Batman is dead." The crowd gasped some people fainted in the crowd Robin walked up to GCPD Commissioner James Gordon nodded, "Commissioner".
"Are you sure?" He asked.
"Yes sir." Robin said then walked to Batman and did the unthinkable he removed the cowl to reveal to the world Batman's identity he then held up Bruce Wayne and vanished to the darkness of Crime Ally in the darkness Robin cried he contacted Bruce's butler Alfred, "Alfie? Can you come pick me up at Crime Ally I'm done for the night?"
"A little early don't you think?" Alfred asked.
"The Batmobile is toast. Can you please come get me?"
"Of course Master Damian I don't see anything on Mater Bruce's suit is he alright?" Alfred asked.
"No" Damian said still crying, "He's dead."
"MY WORD! I'll be right there." Alfred said twenty minutes later Alfred arrived in one of Bruce's many cars, "Get in" Robin got in and the drove to Wayne Manor Robin walked down to the Batcave and got on his Motor cycle, "Master Robin where are you going?" Alfred asked.
"Blüdhaven." Robin said.
"Why?" Alfred asked.
"To talk with Dick." Robin said and drove off on the way over he used his link to the Bat Computer to Call Dick's house.
"Hello you've reached the Grayson's sorry we're not at home but you know what to do." His voice machine said before Damian hung up an hour later Robin snuck into Dick Grayson's apartment he imminently had a gun pulled on him by a sixteen year old girl who Damian found extremely attractive.
"Who the heck are you?" the girl asked.
"Don't worry" Robin said removing his hood, "I'm Robin. You know Batman's sidekick, YOUR Father was Robin. I'm a good guy." Robin said as the girl lowered the gun.
"Sorry my name is Sara, Sara Grayson." She said and extended her hand.
"Damian, Damian Wayne." Robin said shaking her hand, "Is your father home?" he asked.
"No not yet he had to work late and if you're wondering where my mom is its ladies night for the Justice League I have to be in bed before midnight so goodnight and until we meet again she said then ran upstairs.
"My name is Damian Wayne I am the son of the late Batman and now I wait for my friend Nightwing to arrive home we need to talk."
