Well, I've had this idea for a long time. A really long time. I tried it once, and it didn't go so well. But now I've definantly figured out the problems, fixed them, and figured out how I'm going to do this a lot better than last time. So thank you for putting the time in to click on my little ol' story, and please keep reading.

Note: This is an aleternete universe. I.E. no Goku, no Gohan, no Piccolo, etc. You may see characters similiar to them, and that is because it is their alternate form. So obviously, this story is made of OCs and new ideas. And no, that doesn't mean I'm going to do something like "Super saiyan 5 lololololol". No, that's stupid. I will be adding a few things that I thought of, though. These things, or really one thing, were never mentioned in DBZ, obviously. I just made it up.

Another Note: The main OCs family's names are puns of alcoholic things, not vegetables. Why? Because all the names I could think of were taken. Now then,

A loud snoring shook the forest. The epicenter of the shaking seemed to be the tallest tree, which stood in the forests center. The forest wasn't all that large, and that made sense, cosidering forests were scarce on Planet Vegeta.

A male, looking to be about eighteen, stared up at the center tree, a frown plastered on his face. "Lazy son of bitch..." He muttered, slamming his fist on the tree three times as a knock.

"Hey, Saka, wake the hell up!" He called up, waiting for a few moments. The snoring did not stop, and no response was given.

The male looked to be about six foot two, and wore strange armor. It seemed to be flexable, and was only covering his chest, the rest of his body covered by blue spandex. The plates covering his chest and back were gold in the center, but the rest of the armor was white.

He had black hair, and what almost looked like a futuristic monocule over his left eye. A scouter. His eyes were black as well, but what stood out the most about this man was the light brown monkey like tail around his waist.

"Saka! Get up!" The man slammed his fist into the tree again, making it shake. He heard something slip, and the snoring seemed to be getting closer. He stepped to the left, and where he stood a moment ago another male landed- er, crashed.

In the small crater, the man groaned, climbing to his feet as he stretched. After a moment of stretching and yawning, one of his eyes forced itself open. "What do you want, Alcohl?"

The male looked quite a lot like the other, they were even the same height. They also had the same monkey tail. But they were not twins, no, the one who had just awoke, Saka, was two years younger than his brother, Alcohl.

"What do I want?! I want you to stop sleeping until noon and get ready for our mission!" Alcohl said, clearly annoyed by his brothers antics.

"Was that today?" Saka scratched his head, arching a brow at his brother with a yawn.

"Damn it Saka! Yes, it was today!"

"You really outta work on that anger."

In the next instant, Saka was being strangled by his older brother, being shaken as this went on.

"Gah! Hey, let go!" Saka grabbed his brother by his wrists as he was shaken.

"Saka, if you don't take this seriously this time, the king will have both of our asses!" Alcohl let go of Saka, pushing him back. "Father might be a royal adviser, but there's no way in hell he can get you out of what would come of this failure, got it?!"

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever." Saka dusted himself off, turning and beginning to walk away. "Let's just go already, I wanna get this over with."

Alcohl smirked lightly. "Planet Kabocha won't know what hit it."

Saka couldn't help but smirk in return. "No it will not."

Saka waited patiently as his parents walked over. His father also had a resemblance to Saka and Alcohl, but his hair was tainted with light grey and wrinkles forming on his face.

(Yes I'm aware that saiyans don't show aging but for the sake of them all not looking exactly the same let's just say they do, alright?)

Next to him was his mother, who, unlike her mate, hadn't shown too many signs of aging. Her hair remained a reddish brown, and her eyes were still as lively as they were when she was Saka's age. They both wore armor similar to that of Saka and Alcohl.

"Saka, I trust you're aware of what the concequences of another failure are, correct?" Thier father asked, and Saka rolled his eyes.

"Yes, I know! Can we all stop repeating it now?" Saka said, clearly irritated. He wasn't that lazy, was he?

"Come on, Scotch, can't you have some faith in the boy?" Their mother asked, looking over at her mate.

"After last time I'm not sure, Wihn. Alcohl, make sure you're brother doesn't get into too much trouble, alright? I'd rather not have another failure on my hands." Scotch said, looking to Alcohl, who smirked and nodded.

Saka was clearly unnamused by his fathers words, but was reassured by his mothers smile. At least someone in this family believed he wasn't a waste of space.

Saka said nothing, only giving a two fingered wave as he stepped into his pod, the door closing behind him. Alcohl stepped into his own, and soon enough they had burst from the ground, rocketing towards the sky.

Saka had been sleeping in his pod for about two days now. It would have been mind numbingly boring in there if it wasn't for sleeping. Sure, the sights were nice, but after awhile, they just got boring.

He sat staring out the window of the cramped pod, thinking. Why did everyone keep telling him not to mess up? He got it, if he screwed up again he'd be executed.

But why did that matter to them? It didn't matter to him. Quite frankly, being a saiyan was annoying. Having to live under King Vegeta was pointless.

The king was just as dumb as the rest of them, but he had been the one who finished off those ancient... What were they called? Truffles? Something like that.

Oh well. He knew why father and Alcohl wanted him not to fail. Because if he did then they'd be related to a failure.

This got on Saka's nerves, but he couldn't get mad. He knew what happened when he got mad. It was... Unpleasant.

His scouter turned on, and his thoughts were interupted. "Hey, Saka. There it is." He heard Alcohl's voice over his scouter.

Saka looked out the window to see a light blue planet floating in the stars. A single moon circled it, and the planet really didn't look like anything special.

"Hm. This shouldn't take long." Saka responded over the scouter as the pods began to enter Kabocha's orbit.

A group of small children laughed, running through the blue forests. The trees had blue leaves, and the grass also seemed to be blue. The vegitation on this planet was certainly... Different.

Each of the trees seemed to hold a fruit of some sort. One of the three children grabbed onto the branch of a tree, climbing up to the next branch. The little girl had soon reached the top, and one of the two boys was climbing up the tree after her.

Soon he reached the top, but she seemed to be staring at the sky. The boy tapped her shoulder anyway. "Tag." He said, arching a brow at her. She still didn't respond.

"What's that..?" She finally said, pointing to the sky. In the sky, two white balls coated in flames seemed to be falling towards them from the sky.

The boy's eyes widened, and he grabbed his friend. "Come on! We've gotta go!" He suddenly said, jumping from the tree and catching himself in air.

"What's wrong?" The other boy asked, looking to his friends.

"No time!" The flying child said, landing on the ground with the one girl in their group. "Come on, we've gotta get to the palace!"

The ground rumbled as the two pods found themselves tearing into the ground, throwing grass from its orginal placement and eventually coming to a stop just before a patch of a few small trees.

The doors opened in unison, and the saiyan brothers stepped out at once. Alcohl cracked his knuckles, while Saka merly yawned, stretching.

"I hope these Kabochan's can put up a fight. I like a little bit of challenge with my foes." Alcohl said, looking around the forest with his scouter. No one else was in it, but down a path were a few high power levels. Well, high enough.

"Let's go this way." Saka said without another word, bursting off down the path. Alcohl followed.

The boy bursted through the doors of the palace, panting heavily with his friends. He hunched slightly, his hands on his knees.

He looked up to see a man standing over him. He wore armor that almost resembled that of Saka and Alcohl, but with pink fur on it's inside. He wore the same pink fur-like sustance around his shins.

He had dark teal hair, and wore a gold necklace with a ruby on it around his neck. The boy wore an identical necklace. "Kabo, what was that crash?" The man asked, and the lead child, Kabo, still tried to catch his breath.

"T-the... S-... Saiyans..." Kabo panted, and the man's eyes widened.

"What?!"

"Daiz... they showed up sooner than we thought, didn't they..?" Kabo asked, and the man nodded.

"Yes... They did..." The man, Daiz, answered. "Go find father and raise the alarm. This will get ugly..."

"But what about you, big brother?"Kabo asked, and Daiz knelt down before him with a smile, ruffling his hair. "Well I'm going to show those big bad saiyans who's boss."

Kabo nodded, a smile appearing on his lips as he and his friends ran up the stairs of the palace. Daiz stood in wait, feeling that the innevitable end was on it's way.

Hurry, Kabo... Our planet's fate rests in the balance.

Saka and Alcohl both pressed one hand to one of the two doors, glancing at one another before the doors blew open. They found a lone Prince standing in wait.

"Well if it isn't Prince Daiz." Alcohl smirked. "You're father really should have just sworn his allegiance to the saiyans. Then we wouldn't be in this predicament." Alcohl shrugged. "Oh well."

Daiz's teeth grit, and he dropped into a fighting stance. "You two will get no further. Not without going through me."

Alcohl grinned. "Done." He agreed, suddenly shoot off the ground and at Daiz, who quickly moved his hand, catching Alcohl's fist in it, sliding back as he winced.

Before anything else could be said, Saka was below him, throwing up one fist and uper cutting him into the air.

As Daiz caught himself in the air, Alcohl was already apon him, floating above him with two fists pulled back. His fists collapsed together, and he brought them down on Daiz's head, sending him rocketing to the tiles of the floor.

He smashed into the ground, bouncing once before stopping, blood seeping from his mouth. "Well that was a let down." Saka yawned, holding up one palm and aiming it at the motionless Daiz.

Blue ki began to swirl in Saka's palm, forming into a ball of spinning blue. The air seemed to pressurize, and the Kabochan Prince's eyes snapped open.

A wave of blue ki was fired from Saka's hand at Daiz, who burst into the air at the last second, leaving the ground where he layed once before to be blown to smithereens. Smoke swirled silently in the small crater.

"Where the hell did he go?" Alcohl asked, looking around the room. His scouter suddenly beeped, and his eyes widened at the reading. 4,000.

He didn't have time to react to the ball of red energy that was launched at him, only turning in time for it to slam into his chest.

"Meteor Ball!" He heard Daiz exclaim as he was thrown across the room, smashing into a wall and breaking through it.

An alarm suddenly rang, and the saiyan brothers glanced at one another. "I'll take care of the Prince." Saka said. "You go stop that irritating siren."

Alcohl seemed unsure of his brother's decision for a moment, but then shot off into the air towards the top of the palace, where the sound was coming from.

"No!" Daiz shot towards Alcohl, but was only met with a leg, which slammed directly into his throat, throwing him spinning back through the air.

Saka yawned, his hands in the pockets of the spandex on his legs. "Your fight's with me now, Princess." Saka smirked lightly, and Daiz roared, shooting off of the ground at him.

Alcohl landed at the top of the palace, seeing a large upside-down cone that seemed to be radiating the sound. Next to it stood a child. Kabo. He had clearly activated it.

"Oh no..." The little girl said, hiding behind Kabo.

"Oh how disappointing." Alcohl rolled his eyes. "And here I thought I might actually have a real fighter to deal with. It's just some kids playing hero."

Alcohl's scouter beeped, and he read the numbers 105. He caught a small leg, looking up at the boy in his cluches, who was desperately trying to break free.

"That's cute." Alcohl threw the boy to the ground hard enough to make him bounce back up, where he pulled back one leg, kicking the boy across the roof they stood on, watching as Kabo jumped up, catching him and forcing himself to stop before he hit the siren.

"Come on kiddies, let's not make this too difficult." Alcohl began walking towards the children, and the girl roared, shooting off the ground at him. The scouter beeped again. 95.

He side stepped her oncoming punch, bringing up one elbow and slamming it into her back. She was thrown to the ground, smashing into it. She went still, but she was still alive as blood seeped from her mouth and dripped to the floor.

Kabo backed up in fear, his back touching the siren. "How are they this strong..?" He asked himself, terror in his eyes as Alcohl approached.

"I'm not gonna lie, you little bastards are certainly strong for your age. But compared to me..." Alcohl grinned, leaning down to be eye level with Kabo, who was shaking.

"You're nothing." Just as Alcohl pulled back his fist to smash the kid, his scouter beeped. 5,000. "The hell?!" He turned, being met with a foot that smashed into his chin, throwing him into the air.

He felt his leg being grabbed, and was thrown to the rooftop, which he smashed into, and dust and pieces of dry wall fell silently down to the next floor.

Over Alcohl stood a man that wore clothing similiar to Daiz, but he also wore a crown apon his head, and his necklace's ruby was certainly a lot bigger than that of his children's.

"Well if it isn't the leader of the Pukinpa dynasty himself." Alcohl grinned, climbing to his feet. The man almost looked exactly like Daiz, but with grey hair instead of dark teal, and with a wrinkle here and there.

The Emperor said nothing, he only dropped into a fighting stance, glancing at his son. Kabo nodded, grabbing his two friends and running down the stairs back into the palace.

Saka and Daiz rocketed towards one another, their fists colliding as a shock wave reverberated through the palace.

Damn it, Alcohl! Why the hell hasn't that siren stopped yet?! Saka asked himself as he threw a punch, which Daiz avoided, throwing a knee into Saka's abdomen. Saka hunched over in pain, saliva spewing from his mouth and onto Daiz's armor.

Daiz pulled back one fist, which glowed red. He threw it forward, easily landing a punch on Saka and throwing him back through the air and out through the hole Alcohl had created. He could see blasts firing off of the roof. Damn it...

Saka backflipped up, and Daiz crashed into the ground where he layed only a moment ago. "Come on, saiyan! Is that all you've got?!" Daiz threw one fist forward, and Saka caught it, not moving at all.

"No."

An aura of blue exploded to life around Saka as he pulled Daiz forward and off of his balance. Saka pulled back his head, slamming it into Daiz's. Daiz stumbled, and just as he did, Saka's foot slammed into his chest, throwing him back into the palace and into the steps, which seemed to explode into rubble as he collided with them.

Kabo stopped dead, seeing his brother smash into the bottom steps. He was holding the girl, but the boy had managed to wake himself up.

Daiz's eyes were forced to open, and he glanced at his brother with one eye, the other wincing shut. "... Run." Was all he could say.

Saka forced both palms open, taking aim on the fallen prince. "Don't bother kid. It'll make my job a hell of a lot easier if you just sit right there." Balls of blue burst to life in both of his hands, and in the next instant, Kabo was pulled back by his friend, and could only watch in horror at what happened next.

Daiz was pelted with balls of blue ki, and his eyes widened in pain, his body flailing around under the force of the blasts, his mouth open in a scream of agony that was drowned out by the roar of the blasts.

Saka held both hands over his head, grunting with effort as a large ball began to form over his head. It quickly expanded, blue ki swirling around it as it grew larger and larger. Saka threw it forward, not making a sound as he did.

Daiz could only sit in silence as the blast raced towards him. That was that.

He was engulfed immediately, and after a split second that seemed like an eternity to Kabo, the gigantic ball exploded!

Kabo and his friends were thrown back, and the wall next to where Daiz's mutilated corpse layed was no more.

All was silent until a yawn broke said silence. "Well, that was disappointing." Saka comented, glancing at the children. The girl was still unconscious, the boy groaning as he attempted to sit up, and Kabo was staring at where his brother was laying. His eyes were wide and his jaw dropped, tears running down his cheeks.

"Big brother!"

And that's the chapter. If I get a review, favorite, or follow, I will continue this little three(?) part prologue. So please, if you like this and want to see more of it, tell me. If you hated it and want to throw a bottle at me, tell me. And if you think I have things to improve on, tell me what they are! Please, I need to know if I'm doing something wrong and what I'm doing right.

But hey, if you read this far, I must have done something right, right..? Or something so terribly wrong that you wanted to read the rest of this for laughs...

Pessimistic? Yeah, I think that fits. I know, you guys probably don't wanna read my little plea for feedback, but it's what keeps me going. Now then, thank you for reading, and I hope you want to see more and are willing to tell me so.
