Ben and Rook have been dating for 6 months now and everyone knows but no one cares. Their love for each other was exposed by a reporter who took a photo of them kissing when the blinds were open; the photos went viral all over the internet but Ben and Rook are relieved that they don't have to hide their love. There seems to only be one person who is unhappy about their relationship and that person is Kevin, he had wanted Ben ever since they first met but he always thought Ben was straight.
Ben, Rook and Gwen are all hanging out at Mr Smoothy.
(Rook's POV)
As Ben and I sat at the table it felt good to be able to show their love in public instead of hiding it, we sat their close together waiting for Gwen to return with our drinks. Ben was leaning his head on my shoulder our arms linked, Gwen walked up to us with a tray with three cups.
"Here you go," she said cheerfully placing the tray down.
She sat down taking her smoothie, Ben and I took ours and started drinking. Gwen kept checking for phone always looking worried when she checked it.
"What's wrong, Gwen?" Ben asked
"Oh...nothing," she replied checking her phone.
"You're lying," my lover replied staring at Gwen
"It's just Kevin, I haven't seen him in 3 weeks, and "she replied I' am worried he usually calls,
"He is just being Kevin," Ben replied
We continued to drink our smoothies in peace until I got a call from a fellow plumber.
"Ben baby, I got to go," I said "The Plumbers need me for something,"
"Okay Rook," Ben said kissing me on the lips "I'll see you when you get home,"
(Ben's POV)
"So Ben, you and Rook are pretty serious," Gwen teased
"Yeah we are, he moved in 2 weeks ago," Ben replied "I would do anything for him, Gwen."
Gwen and I finished our smoothies and drove back to her place; Gwen had moved out of her parents place and bought her own house. Pulling into the garage Gwen picked up one of Kevin's tool and tried to sense him but no luck, they walked into the kitchen.
"Are you hungry?" asked Gwen "I have some left over curry from last night,"
"Yeah sure," I replied sitting down at the bench "Gwen, can I tell you something,"
"Yeah, what is it," she said placing a pot on the stove
"I' am thinking about proposing to Rook," I said
