Wisdom is directly dependent on time, and the experiences that it carries.
As such, one would believe those with the title of Keyblade Master would be some of the wisest of them all.
Alas, this is not so.
For one, it is youth. Naïveté and youth are not strangers to one another, and bravery alongside naïveté is one of the highest of the dastardly duos.
Valor.
Naïve bravery, however, is what often brings about selflessness, and no amount of wisdom, however useful, could encourage this action. Contraire.
Then, does that make wisdom obsolete?
Turn to this man. This broken man, a mere shadow of who he once was. Stripped of his achievement, his title, his people, his world…
…his name.
Despite his misfortunes, despite his shortcomings, it is this man who has the last laugh, the final say, revenge and regret. He has failed, but in failure, wisdom has triumphed. It has grown, weathered.
Courage does not weather.
But does it not grow, all the same?
One cannot be brave and wise. Chivalrous and wise, yes. To be brave and wise, though…that, in itself, is a contradiction, truly.
So the question is…which would you choose?
