"Truth or dare?" asked Parvati Patil as the bottle stopped to face Lavender Brown. All of the fifth year Gryffindors

(minus Hermione Granger who was sat reading a book) were sat around in the Gryffindor common room playing the Muggle

game 'Spin the Bottle' which Dean Thomas had told everyone about.

"Truth!" shouted Lavender.

"Would you ... ," started Parvati," would you ever go out with ... umm .... Draco Malfoy?"

At hat everyone in the room started laughing their heads off!

"Eww! No! Yuck! Man, he's disgusting! I have more taste than that!"

"Yeah! Seamus!" laughed Dean, jokingly across the room.

"Very funny!" said Lavender, blushing along with Seamus.

"Anyway," said Ron," spin again!"

Parvati got the bottle in her hand and span it on the floor. The bottle span twelve times and landed on Hermione who

was sat in a corner with her head buried in a book. Everyone started laughing uncontrollably and Hermione looked up

at all the noise.

"Can you all be quiet! I'm trying to read if you hadn't cared to notice!" spat Hermione over the top of her book.

"Umm ... Hermione! The bottle's landed on you!" sniggered Seamus.

"Yeah well, I'm not playing ... so if you will just leave me alone!"

"Oh go on Hermione, don't be a spoilt-sport!"

"No!"

"Please?"

"No!"

"I know you want to!"

"No I don't want actually Seamus. Now, leave me in peace!"

"Fine!"

With that Parvati grabbed the bottle and span the bottle again. This time it landed on Ron.

"Truth or dare?"

"Umm ... dare"

"Right!" Parvati tried to think of a brilliant dare for Ron. She suddenly thought of the best dare ever! She

whispered it into Lavender's ear and Lavender squealed in delight!

"That would be perfect!" shouted Lavender.

Parvati whispered the dare to everyone except Ron and everyone agreed. Finally, Parvati went over to Ron and

whispered it in Ron's ear.

"No! She would kill me! No, don't make me do it!"

"Ah no! You have to know! And if you don't you have to go kiss Pansy Parkinson!" All of the Gryffindor boys

squirmed at the sound of her name.

"Alright alright!" Ron got to his feet and walked over the room to where Hermione was sat. Hermione looked up

from her book at Ron.

"Yes Ron?"

"Umm ... well ... will you ... umm ... will-you-go-out-with-me?" Hermione blushed bright red but took advantage

of the situation.

"Pardon Ron! Didn't quite hear you!" Everyone started laughing behind Ron at this.

"Umm ... will-you-go-out-with-me?" Ron blushed bright red at this, brighter than his hair.

"Stop mumbling!" Hermione said noticing that Ron was getting nervous.

"Bloody Hell Hermione! Will you go out with him he said!" shouted Fred from the other side of the common room.

"Fred!" shouted Ron.

"What? Only helping you! Saw that you were a bit tongue-tied!" he replied grinning at Ron.

"Yes actually Ron!" butted in Hermione.

"What?" spluttered Ron.

"I said yes, ok?"

"Umm ... yeah!" Ron stalked back to the group of fifth years and they all started clapping. "Stop it!" he whispered.

"Embarrassed are we?" teased Dean. Hermione noticed that everyone was clapping at Ron. She realised that Ron had

only asked her as a dare. With that, she threw her book on the table and ran out of the common room.

"What have you done now, Ronikins?" said Fred, mockingly.

"Shut up," replied Ron as he ran out of the common room door after Hermione.
