"Tara," Jessica interrupted. "They did not survive whatever happened." She lowered her head.
Tara sat up in her coffin, she looked curiously around the room. "Who are these people?"
"Friends, Tara, this is Commander Data and this is Commander LaForge, from the Federation" She said motioning to the two Starfleet officers.
"At least they ain't Authority" She said sounding relieved. "Now where can we get some True Blood?"
Geordi and Data looked at each other. "True Blood? What's that?" he asked.
Jessica answered him" Blood substitute, it tastes terrible but supplies all our nutritional needs."
"Ahh our replicators can reproduce the blood of over 3000 species of animal or sentient being including human, vulcan, klingon..." Geordi cut him off.
"Data, I think they get the point" he chuckled. "Welcome to the 24th century, ladies" He smiled.
It had been months. Sloane was not dead. Section 31 was still alive. And even more disconnected from Starfleet. "These two will make excellent weapons against our enemies, don't you agree, Admiral?"
" Oh yes, Sloane. I would say so." Admiral Ross was now the acting head of Section 31. " Like it or not, these two will be trained to become the perfect weapon against any and all enemies the Federation may encounter."
Sloane grinned, " The perfect weapon, Admiral, is one that does not know they are a weapon." Sloane poured the Admiral and himself a glass of Romulan Ale. Raising them, he proposed a toast. "To Section 31 and the past, which is now our future."
