/.01 - Sleep
Touya strolled along beside me. His happiness filled the air, and I couldn't help but smile when he talked about the shoot we just came from. "I was marvelous, wasn't I? They loved me!" I nodded and bit my tongue. I wanted to tell him that four out of his six lines were wrong, but I didn't want to bring down his good mood.
We stopped at the door and I dug in my pocket for my keys. Suddenly, Touya seemed to be too tired to do anything. "Hurry up, manager," he said lazily.
"Stop whining," I whispered. It was too dark outside. I couldn't find the keyhole.
"Why are you whispering?" Touya asked with an amused look on his face. "You're really strange, it isn't like we're bothering anyone."
I shrugged my shoulders and pushed the door open. Touya stretched his arms out and yawned. "Finally," he said and smiled at me, "finally." Touya flopped down on the couch.
"Don't sleep there, Touya..." I said, but it was too late. His head was slightly angled, leaning against the back cushion. I smiled and watched him for a moment. Touya looks so calm and childish when he sleeps. Unlike when he is awake, always hyper. I sat down on the edge of the armrest and watched his chest rise up and down. This is a perfect picture, I thought. I jumped up and ran down the hall, flipping over a stack of papers. I grabbed the camera and ignored the fallen papers. What's one small mess going to do when this whole building is messy?
Luckily Touya was still in the position when I returned. I knelt down and adjusted the camera. "Keep still," I whispered, even though he couldn't hear me. Click. I smiled and set the camera down. Touya shivered. I stood up and tossed a thin blanket over him. His mouth curved upwards slightly and his head drooped forward. I chuckled and flicked off the lights. Touya is so gentle-looking when he sleeps. I wonder if he'll call me strange for taking a picture of him...?
